Day 295

Well there won't be any sleeping in this holiday. That would be ok...if we weren't staying up uber late each night. This morning we got up, and we had a HUGE breakfast. Then the man - Robert - that owns the Bed and Breakfast drove us into Lisburn, - Bachelor's Walk to be exact - where we hopped on a bus to Belfast.

What happened next was very unusual for my Mom and I. After checking out City Hall, and taking a number of pictures...the two of us spent the rest of the day...SHOPPING!

We had a really nice time together, sat down for a coffee a couple of times, and walked around a lot. By the time we caught a bus back to Lisburn, (after waiting for 2 that never showed) found a pay phone, and went to Bachelor's Walk, Robert was there to collect us. He drove us back to the house where we watched the 2nd half of the football match in our room, and then went downstairs to meet up with Robert again.

He then took us out to see his horses! It was a bit of a drive, but when we got to the field, he actually took us beyond the gates, and right up to these massive, beautiful creatures. They were lovely, and my Mom and I were petting them as I took loads of pictures. All of a sudden, this one horse, sort of took a liking to me. He kept nudging me, and then I thought he was going to take a chunk out of my jacket. I moved away from him as he was sort of creeping me out, but I think all he really wanted was cuddles. He was a cutie pie. Once we finished there, we came back to the house for a coffee. We met two of Robert's sons, and after talking to him for a bit, and watching the football highlights, my Mom and I came up to our room, and went right to sleep. We were exhausted. xx
