Day 210

Now that's a lot of pain!

I woke up on Sunday, knowing from tossing and turning that I hurt, but I couldn't actually imagine how much it would hurt once I stood. I had seen the bruise on my tailbone the night before. It was the size of my index finger - length wise - and then at the bottom of that, it's a bruise about the size of a small to medium potato. The muscle pain in my neck, and biceps though. That was something I had not expected. Still, I would definitely do it all over again. It was awesome!

I got ready and went down to breakfast with everyone. Once we ate, we went back upstairs to get everyone ready. Then it was time to wait for the bus. When it arrived, we all jumped on and headed to the hill.

It wasn't the busiest day for me. I spent most of it just sitting in the lodge, which as you know by now, was fine by me. A little boring at times, but there was never a point where I didn't have anything or anyone to look at.

I had helped get the boys ready, and said goodbye to them as they went off skiing for the first hour and a half with Heloise and Tim. I sat in the lodge with a Starbucks, and sent some texts. At 10:30, I went outside to meet up with Heloise and took Zach into the lodge while her and Tim went off skiing on their own. The other 2 had already gone to their lessons. Zach and I went back to what became my table that day. We took a seat, and he played DS. At 11:30, I got him all ready, and took him to his lesson. Once he was in and ready to go, I headed back to my table where I did crosswords and laughed at one of the good looking employees for the next hour. Then it was time to pick Zach up again.

The two of us got a spot in the lodge, and went to get some food. 11 dollars and too much change later, he had a burger he was never going to eat, and some chips. I then went to get him a hot chocolate. Something else for him not to finish. I had cut his burger into quarters, and it took him a good hour to eat the first one. Some moaning came with the teeniest bites, and I told him after about an hour and a half, that he just had to have the 2nd quarter, then that was it. He may have done it. There would have been a lot more moaning, but I am confident he would have done it eventually. That, however, is when Heloise came in. She did not make it any easier. She talked about how disgusting the burger looked, and no wonder he wasn't eating it, it was cold. Well HI! It wouldn't be cold if he had of eaten it right away. (Sure, the bite I had was disgusting, but I also didn't choose it!) She gave him an apple and told him to eat that instead. ARGH! She went to catch the bus back to the hotel so that she could work, he finished the apple (sort of). I told him I wasn't happy with him, and that didn't exactly put a smile on his face. After he threw the apple out, I told him to come sit on my lap and try to sleep for a bit. He looked exhausted. He got up, and before long, he was passed out. Supporting his head, and his ski boots, was not good for my pain. But I endured it, and about an hour later, I got him ready for his next lesson. Poor little guy. He was so worn out.

After dropping him off, I returned to my table, did some more crosswords and conversed a bit with the guy who had me laughing earlier. He wasn't having the greatest day, but was laughing about it and couldn't wait for his shift to be over, as it would be the beginning of his weekend. An hour later, it was time to grab Zach. Of course, Tim was there as well. He asked if Heloise hadn't told me that he was getting him. I told him she had told me to meet him at the daycare. He told the two of us we might be able to catch the earlier bus, so I scooped Zach up, and ran - in pain - up a hill. It wasn't our bus at all. We had just over half an hour to wait. The two of us walked inside, out of the cold, and waited with some others. We had some crazy conversations, and I ran him to the bathroom. When we got back, we waited a little longer. Eventually Tim and the boys met up with us, and soon after, the bus was there.

Zach sat with me again, and we had some more conversations about Jack. When we got back to the hotel, Zach came to my room again. Nathaniel joined us a little bit later, and we all watched TV until about 5:30 when they decided to go for a swim. I caught up on some blog writing. As soon as they got back from swimming, we all went downstairs for a very good buffet. Nathaniel wasn't feeling great, and again was falling asleep. Zach was too. Heloise took them up to the room. When the rest of us went up, Josh played DS for a bit, I made the two of us some hot chocolate, eventually told him to go to sleep, and I packed. When I went to get in the shower...it took me I would say 10 minutes, just to get out of my hoodie. The pain was getting worse.

Extremely sleepy, but so excited, I was finding it hard to go to sleep. Plus it killed my neck to lie down. I did though, and I switched on Baseketball. Eventually, I turned off the TV, gave in to my eyelids, let them shut, and fell asleep.
