I have NEVER seen so many good looking guys, in one place. OH MY GOD! I still haven't been able to stop thinking about the Starbucks guy, but let me tell you...looking around the lodge, the view is VERY nice!
It was Josh that woke me up this morning. First at around 3, then again at 6. That's when I stopped trying to go back to sleep. I had told Josh to attempt another 30 mins, but it wasn't happening. I got up, made him a hot chocolate, myself a mocha, and we watched some TV. I was ready by the time he went next door to get his clothes, and apparently Zach was still asleep. Eventually, everyone was ready, and we went down for breakfast. We had to eat kind of quick, and then come back upstairs to get all of the boys equipment on, and ready. I helped Zach (who by the way has become my best little friend - and that's an AWESOME feeling). When they were all ready to go, we went downstairs. I was getting Zach's boots on in the lobby when the bus pulled up, so one boot on, and one sock foot, I scooped him up and carried him onto the bus. We had a good little conversation, and I got his other boot back on. We pulled up to the lodge, and got out. We waited by the side until Heloise, Tim and the other 2 boys got off the bus, and once we had all the skis and poles in our hands, we went down the stairs to the bottom of the hill.
Everyone went off to have a quick ski before school started, so I went and sat in the lodge. It was here that I really enjoyed people watching. At 9:20, so about half an hour later, I went to meet up with them, and helped take Zach into his school. He was supposed to be having a group lesson, but no one else was there, so it ended up being private. (Nice for him). I went and sat in the lodge and sort of watched out the window while I enjoyed a coffee, and spoke to my sister and my Mom. At 10:30, I went back to meet up with him, but Heloise and Tim were there. The 4 of us headed back upstairs, had a coffee, and then Tim went out to have a couple of runs before taking Zach out with him again. When Zach was done his hot chocolate, he went out with his parents for an hour. I sat there, people watching again, enjoying the view, but still a little bored. I had nothing to do, so I went on Facebook on my phone. Well that was a mistake. I started looking at different things, and ended up reading a note the Starbucks guy had written about a year ago. Oops. I now have 25 more reasons as to why he's perfect. Like I needed that! Anyway, an hour later, Zach was back and I grabbed lunch for him. We sat down, and I ended up eating half of his hot dog, cuz he didn't like the bread. That...and it was ginormous. When he finished, we were slowly getting pushed out of the way by this family and friends that had taken over our table. I was getting angry. We played a couple of quick rounds of "Guess the Animal", and then I was so done with this group of people, that I got him ready, and walked him over to his next lesson.
We got to the lesson early, which they seemed to find odd. We sat on the bench waiting, and he told me he loved me. Probably the best thing I've heard in the 7 months I've been living with them. It was great. When his instructor took him in, I headed up to the bus stop, and waited. I spoke to a girl that had arrived, and she's from Germany, but has been living on Victoria Island. She's there for a year, and will finish in July. We got on the bus, talked a little bit more, and when I got back to the hotel, I came right up to my room, made some coffee, and am now writing this while watching "the Dr's". It was talking about fat, and portion control etc. Something I really needed to see today. I feel like a whale! I know I only had half a hot dog for lunch, but I'm stuffed. Anyway, that's over, and I can't write anymore about my day until I do something else...so for now, I'll go do some crosswords, and will write more before bed.
So once everyone got back from skiing, we went for a walk to the store, where I rented some ski pants, we bought some delicious health cookies, and came back to the hotel to go for dinner. We went to a restaurant filled with good looking waiters and bartenders, and had a nice meal. It wasn't until we got back, that I realized you can see in our hotel room from the restaurant. Thank God I've been closing the curtains before getting into bed at night! How crazy is that?!?! It was nice however, to be able to see the good looking bartender before falling asleep. I also called to book a SNOWBOARDING lesson before bed. I was soooo excited! That was Day 3.
