Mmm Green Tea.
Today has been a good day...considering I thought I'd feel my worst. I woke up, got ready and came downstairs. Tim left early, so I did breakfast for the boys. When I finally sat down, I finished my breakfast and tea, and then did homework with them. Heloise had her study day, and she really wanted to get some work done this morning, so I walked the boys up to school, in pretty good time, and once I dropped them off, I spoke to Steve, and then Tina and I went to Freeport for coffee, and to do some shopping.
When we arrived, all of the stores were closed. So we headed straight to Starbucks :D We ordered our drinks, and then sat down. Starbucks guy wasn't there, so I couldn't point him out to Tina. It was just as we were finishing our drinks, that a smile suddenly came across my face. He had walked in, and I couldn't finish my sentence. I couldn't even think. I can only imagine how giddy I looked when I turned to Tina and went "THERE HE IS!" She looked over instantly and basically told me she approved. She also said that I needed to ask him to meet up sometime. I have yet to do that, as I'm a chicken. We sat there quite a while after finishing our drinks, just talking, and eventually left to go shopping.
The two of us bought a top each, and then went to try some other things on at different stores. Tina got another top, and I bought a chain for a pendant my Dad brought over for me. Once we were done looking around, Tina dropped me back off at the house. Heloise and I talked a bit, and then I grabbed my laptop, and began to catch up on some TV. I now know who got kicked off of American Idol, and am caught up on Desperate Housewives. I just have yesterday's episode to watch now. I also watched Grey's Anatomy, so all in all, I was pretty productive.
I got to speak to my Mom for quite a while on Skype, and I also booked my flight from Calgary to Vancouver. I CAN'T WAIT! I then ate my dinner, almost went up to bed, and then remembered Glee was on. I've since been sitting on the couch watching How I Met Your Mother and Friends. Now Glee is on, so I have to go pay attention :p Good Night xx

oh yes, I forgot to mention...My Dad met Jerry the other day. Yep, he's still hanging out in his famous spot...the corner of my bathroom window.

ReplyDeleteI don't know how far you are into Desp. Housewives but it was a repeat, as was Grays! Crap. I hate that. and all this week is repeat too!.

Well first things first. Yes Maija Desperate Houswives was a repeat but Greys wasn't as I know you already know from some of the facial expressions I witnessed on skype today between chats. I think you are more caught up on shows then I am. lol

Now....glad you had a good day Maija. Also very happy that you have your flight all booked and are headed this way for a few days in about 13 sleeps. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guess we will be watching a couple of yours/my shows together.
Starbucks overload ..... here we come.

ReplyDeleteMom - Hehe I don't like watching shows when Heloise is around cuz she probably thinks that's all I do, but the fact of the matter is, I didn't watch any of them when Dad was here, so now I have to catch up...and that means there are a lot to watch. Hehe right, no one needs to know his name, cuz nothing will happen...he's just one of those nice to look at, great smile, nice guy, guys. YAY FOR STARBUCKS OVERLOAD WITH YOU!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! I have been there and done that and now it is over 40years later and I still think of it. Not that I don't have it great now but you still wonder.............Good for Tina!!
