Although I got a decent sleep in lastnight, I was still exhausted when I woke up, and once again I reset my alarm for 15 more minutes. Even after it went off the second time though, all I could do was lay there. I eventually had to force myself to get out of bed. I got ready and went downstairs.
Breakfast and homework done, and I walked the boys up to school. Once they all went in, I walked home, popped some laundry in, spoke to my brother online, and then drove up to Freeport. It was a quick trip. I was just getting necessities. Starbucks, chocolate, and soap. On the way home I checked to see what time the Fish and Chip shop opened and closed, and stopped at the Co-Op. I got some meat and some soy milk, and came home to do laundry, watch American Idol, and do some scrapbooking.
An hour later I made lunch, then headed out to pick up Nathaniel's fish and chips and went to make an eyebrow appointment. I came home for another hour (stuck the fish and chips in the microwave to keep the heat in the paper), and did some more scrapbooking. I then left to get my eyebrows done. (Which I later found out Tim found that odd...and Heloise now thinks I spend the day getting pampered...even though it only takes 5 minutes). Anyway, I got them done and had a good conversation with the girl who did them, and then I left to get the boys from school.
I picked Nathaniel and Zach up. Josh had football. Zach came out of his class and wasn't very happy to see me. He said he wanted his mom. He looked very upset as we started walking to the car, so I picked him up and carried him while he gave me cuddles. We got in the car and drove home. When we arrived, Nathaniel got ready for football while I heated his dinner, and Zach watched a bit of TV. When Nathaniel finished eating, I asked Zach if he wanted to watch the end of the Goonies. He did. We sat on the couch together, I had one on either side of me, and almost as soon as we pushed play, after Nathaniel spilling my tea on me (Luckily I saved my computer), the door opened and Tim was there to pick Nathaniel up. Off he went, and Zach and I watched the movie. He was so funny to listen to. Sure it was annoying when you couldn't hear the movie because he was asking soooooo many questions, that if he listened, they were answering...but at the scary bits he was going "oooh" or "RUN! Why aren't they running faster??" as he cuddled into me. It was too cute.
Heloise walked in before the movie finished, and left again to get our fish and chips. When the movie did end, Zach asked if we could watch it again because he really liked it. We started it again. Heloise got home and we ate. I was soooo full before I could even finish. The two of them left to get Josh from a friend's house, and I sat on the couch to watch some TV and speak to my Mom on Skype. When Heloise and Zach got home, they spoke to my Mom on Skype, and a little later, Tim joined in as well. Nathaniel and Zach went up to bed, and as soon as Josh came in, he did as well. I watched "10 Things I Hate About You" with Heloise (it's one of her favourite movies), and Tim. When that finished, I came upstairs because I'm soooo tired! And now, I'm going to go to sleep. I wonder if I can get in like a 10 hour sleep...wouldn't that be nice! I don't know what I'd do! Anyway, I'm gonna aim for that now, so Good Night xx

Glad you got cuddles even though Zach was not happy to see you.
ReplyDeleteYou need to put everyone straight that pampering is a day at the spa not 5 minutes of someone putting hot wax on your face and then ripping it off as quickly as humanly possible.
Nice that you got to sit and watch a good movie with Heloise. I am sure Tim thought it was rubbish but still nice.
I hope you got at least 8 hours sleep.
Love you lots
Miss you tons

Hahahaha yeah Tim didn't seem to understand what people had done to their eyebrows, and asked Heloise if she ever got it done. She doesn't. Her response was "No, I pluck mine".
ReplyDeleteHaha funny you say that. Tim says it's one of the better romcom movies, but he still doesn't enjoy it...especially not the 100th time around.
Love and Miss you lots xox
