I am absolutely exhausted. The more I sit here, the more I wonder how I'm still functioning. I think my sitting on the couch, is more the fact that I'd have to walk all the way upstairs, then stand in the shower, than it is being comfortable.
Today...a very short sleep had me surprisingly awake this morning. Putting my eye liner on stung a little bit, but that wasn't a shock. I went downstairs and ate my toast and honey and Tim helped Zach with his reading while I listened to Josh read, and Nathaniel did his math. I walked the 3 of them up to school, stopping at Tina's to see if she needed me to take Sam and Joe. Zoe's been sick again, and still wasn't well enough to go in this morning so Tina was very happy that I stopped by. The 6 of us walked through the pathway, with Zach in a strop because we weren't going the long way. The reason we weren't going the long way though, was because he kept stopping and walking to slowly up the first path, so now we wouldn't have time. I dropped them all off, and came home to check e-mails before heading up to the doctors. It was a really nice day, so I walked there as well. It was chilly, but with my hoodie and my mitts, I was fine. After a quick run into the post office, I got to the doctors early, and sat and waited well beyond my appointment time. There were 2 little boys in the waiting room, who I guess knew eachother from school, but neither of them could really speak...and they were so cute to watch. I couldn't stop laughing at one of them at one point, he was just too cute! And the other one handed me a book about pigs. I saw something in the book about monkeys as well, but by that time he had left me, so I laid the book back down on the table. I eventually went up to the doctor's real waiting room, and then in to see her. Once that was done, I walked back home.
Brigitta and I were supposed to be going for a coffee and shopping around 12:30, but on my way home I saw I had a text from her saying she couldn't go. When I got back, I decided I'd watch the last of the guys performances on American Idol before heading out. Then I got my pictures in the mail!!!! I started looking through those (I can't wait to start putting them in my scrapbook), and then Brigitta called me. We talked for a while, and she was supposed to be waiting around for someone to take a look at their house. I told her I'd wait a while to see if she could get out. I folded some laundry, and looked at some of my England pictures :D Then she text me saying she'd be ready around 1:10. I got ready, and met her at her place. We drove to Colchester - I clearly wasn't paying attention again, and got all turned around. I don't know how I can get there problem free one day, and have so many issues the next. Anyway, we parked and our first stop was MAC :D I got part of the new collection, could have spent a fortune more, but refrained...and am very happy to have what I bought. I can't wait to wear it tomorrow.
Then the two of us looked in another couple of stores, and then went to Starbucks to talk. I got a chai tea and a yogurt. Delicious. When my phone said 3, I decided we had better leave. I thought it would be safe because my phone is 10 minutes fast. Well...apparently we walk slower than I think. As we entered Kelvedon, I looked down at the dash, and a little panic entered my heart and mind. It was 3:19. Thank God we weren't too far away, but I knew parking wasn't going to be easy, and the boys get out at 3:20! I found a spot sooner than I expected, and somehow, even though there were children everywhere, managed to get to Nathaniel's class as he was coming out. My Uncle saw me before I saw him, and said hello. He was there to watch Josh's soccer game. A game I too thought I'd be watching...but a certain blonde curly haired boy who had agreed to it in the morning...changed his mind. He stood in the playground debating whether or not he wanted to go home and do homework, or stay there and watch football. He didn't want to do either. In the end, he chose home. I walked with him to the car (Zach was at a friend's), and the two of us drove home. When we got back, he read a bit to me on the couch, and then some more while I made his dinner. He ate, and Josh came home with my Uncle shortly after. I then made his and my dinner, and my Uncle left. Nathaniel was ready for Judo so he was playing wii, and Josh showered while I finished cooking.
When he came down, Josh was in a very foul, odd mood. The two of us ate, and then the two of them left for Judo. After cleaning up, I spoke to my Mom on the phone, and then sat on the couch looking through pictures, and writing lastnight's blog. I was falling asleep downstairs, so I decided to come up and get in the shower. Now I'm falling asleep up here, and can feel that a lot of this blog will not be grammatically correct. You really shouldn't type as you fall asleep. So on that note...Good Night xx

Sometimes I read this and get tired just reading and then I remember what it was like when I did all that with the three of you and not an Uncle (dad) to help out. I sure hope at some point Heloise realizes just how easy she has it really.
ReplyDeletePerhaps Nathaniel thought if it was just you and him you would take him somewhere just the two of you like you used to with Zack and you do with Josh. Never know.
Hope Josh is in a better mood tomorrow.
I also hope you got a good nights sleep and are not too tired tomorrow.
Love you lots
Miss you tons
