What a day. I'm really not in the mood to type tonight. It's almost 12, and I'm exhausted. I'm still going to write my blog, but unfortunately I think I'm going to do a quick rundown instead of a detailed write up.
Woke up in pain - not nearly as much as last night - but got ready, the boys drew while I spoke to my mom online, and I walked them up to school. Then I walked to the doctors. They couldn't see me right away. I walked home and went to bed. Did some cleaning and watched American Idol, then got some lunch and watched Desperate Housewives. Walked back up to the doctors, cried, got in. Cried some more, doctor poked around and thought it might be my appendix. She told me to go to Emerg.
Walked home, my Uncle picked me up. Got the boys, dropped them at my Aunt's. Josh's first comment when he got in the car? "I have no idea if what you have is contagious". Thanks Josh :p He did however tell me a couple of times as he got out of the car, that he hopes I feel better soon. Drove to the hospital, was there 6 HOURS! They don't think it's my appendix, they think it's an infection. Gave me some anti bitotics, watched me for the next 30 mins to make sure I didn't have a reaction to them, and sent me home. Told me to make sure someone was watching me over the next day or two, and if I get worse to go back and see them. got home at about 11, spoke to my Mom on the phone briefly, had some cereal for dinner and am now speaking to my sister on Skype as I fall asleep. Luckily Heloise has the day off tomorrow and has told me I don't have to get up in the morning. That being said, I really need some rest. Good night xx

You really sound in rough shape!! Glad you were able to get to bed early.
ReplyDeleteGood luck tomorrow. Hope it is not appendis, it would be so hard to say were you might have pick something up since you have been so many places in the last week.

So sorry you have been through so much today and I could not be there with you. My tears were being shed as we text back and forth while you were in the hospital. I feel so bad that I am not there for you. Great that you had Uncle Clifford with you. Almost like having dad there with you. You will have to treat him to lunch or something when you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteSo you had supper at 11 and only cereal and still got to bed so late since you were writing this at midnight. Hopefully you can sleep in tomorrow and take it easy all day and get some rest. I know the boys will want to see you and make sure you are okay but hopefully not before they head off in the morning. I know Josh will be very concerned even if he is not sure if it is contageous. I am pretty sure a kidney infection is not. lol
