Day 147

I'm not gonna lie...I soooo don't want to be here right now. I had a wonderful day in Yaxley, and it was very hard to leave. I woke up to silence again, which was great. I got ready and went downstairs. Tom had just opened his eyes, so I told him I was going to my Nan's. He said that was fine, he was going back to sleep.

I closed the doors, and walked through the cutting to my Nan's. I sat with her for an hour, and upset that I wasn't served breakfast, she brought me to the kitchen to make a sandwich. She's too cute. We sat and talked, and she said she had every intention of putting her makeup on before I got there, but she had yet to get around to it. Hehe. She ended up doing it after eating. I had told my friend's family that I'd be by to see them today, so I told Nan I'd be back in a bit, and headed off.

It was so nice walking over to their place. I couldn't stop smiling as I passed the field we used to play soccer on, and the path we walked down when I first met the Peterborough boys...it was so nice. Like I was in a time machine, and was taking a walk through my childhood. I arrived at their door, and they were so happy to see me. We spent just over an hour catching up, and then I headed back to my Nan's. I took a couple of quick pictures on my way, and then when I opened the door to my Nan's, she got ready, and we headed to my Aunt's.

We sat down for some tea, and talked about anything and everything. It was great. I love getting to spend quality time with them, and without anyone else around, we got to talk without interruption. It was great. Around 3:30 though, I was told I had to leave. They wanted me to get home before dark :p I said goodbye to everyone, which was really hard...was sent off with a kit-kat, and walked back to Tom's.

When I got there, his ex was there picking up the cat. I had to wait for her to move her car, so I didn't get on the road until just after 4. When I did eventually set off, the highway was backed up, and the route I needed to take was blocked off. I followed the diversion, but apparently not the whole thing, because I ended up in London. Shhhh don't tell! I don't want anyone here knowing that cuz I'll never hear the end of it. I didn't mind the drive at all. In fact, I was enjoying it. Listening to my music, I was fine. The only thing bothering me was what the others would thing, and how worried my Nan would be. Without thinking about that, I wouldn't have had any problem with it at all. Anyway, I turned myself around and got home just fine. It took me longer than it should have, but I wasn't bothered.

I walked in the door, and Josh poked his head around the corner to say hi. I put my things in my room while Nathaniel and Zach yelled up the stairs telling me what movies they had gone to see yesterday. I went downstairs to make my dinner, and Josh told me about the rugby game he went to watch with my Uncle. I ate, the boys went up to bed, and then I came up to shower and speak to my Mom. I was having/am having a rough night, so it was good I caught her before she went out. Now it's almost 10, I'll probably just go to sleep soon. Not really looking forward tomorrow, but I'm telling myself this week will go by quickly. Here's hoping.
