Got a good night's sleep, but am still finding it difficult to get out of bed in the morning. I'm not sure if it's because of the cold, or how dark it is, but I wake up exhausted and have to MAKE myself keep my eyes open. It takes a lot of work. I rolled over and turned my heater up and checked my e-mail before taking my covers off. Then I slinked out of bed and got ready.
I had fruit for breakfast so there was no craze for eggs. In fact, the boys had already had most of their breakfasts. They must have been up early because when I got to the kitchen, they had already finished their fruit. All but Zach. He had yet to come downstairs. When I sat down to eat my breakfast with a cup of tea, and to do a crossword - after getting Josh and Nathaniel's 3rd breakfasts - ...guess who wandered down. I got him settled, and then we ended up having to do homework. Not sure why, but let's not go there.
I went upstairs for a minute, and when I came back down, Heloise had taken the boys to school. Today was her "study day" so I guess she wanted to walk them up. That wasn't a problem for me. I folded some laundry, and then I headed to Jazzercise. I was early as usual. The door was unlocked, but it was pitch black in the hall. Call me a scaredy cat, but there was NO WAY I was walking in there on my own. I waited for the instructor to show up, and helped her bring everything in. Once everyone arrived, class got underway. We were sweating in no time, and the stretch I love but hate was soon to come. The burning in your thighs hurts sooo much, but when you straighten your legs and stretch it out, your whole body gets so warm, and it feels as though you've accomplished something. It feels great!
The class finished, and I walked up to the bank. I was early, which apparently doesn't happen in England. At least not in Kelvedon. The guy at the counter looked at the clock and went "You're a bit early aren't you?" and sort of laughed. I just said yep, and sat down to wait. How odd. 4 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin (according to the big clock on the wall), I was invited into the office. I opened an account, and after an hour, was walking back home. When I got in, I quickly weighed myself on the wii, then on Heloise's scale. Apparently I lost 4 pounds...which means I'll probably be back up tomorrow, but hopefully evening out so that I've still lost a bit. As I was jumping in the shower, Heloise told me she had to go into Colchester. I told her I'd be 2 minutes. Had the quickest shower of my life, and was at the door ready to go in no time.
We headed to Colchester, looked around a few stores, Heloise got some ... necessities...sort of...and then we went to Starbucks for lunch :D We visited a couple more stores on our way out, and then drove to the boys school. It was really nice to spend a couple of hours with her. I like when we can just sit and talk about whatever, no hecticness, like real cousins. I enjoyed myself. When we got to the school we didn't have to wait too long. Zach's class was let out early AGAIN! - That's got to be a record! - and then Nathaniel and Josh came out soon after. We were also bringing Zach's friend Noah and his brother home for dinner.
We got home, and after folding some laundry, I got to relax. There was nothing that I needed to do! I went on my computer. After the boys ate, Josh and Nathaniel got ready for Judo, and were picked up, then Noah and Dylan went home. Zach came and sat beside me to watch some TV until bed. Heloise made me some dinner. After eating I put some laundry in, then came up to my room to watch Desperate Housewives and to finish up my blog. I've also been talking to my Mom, and am about to watch some of the latest American Idol episode. I really should be going to sleep very soon, but my laundry is still in the machine :( Guess if I want to take it with me tomorrow, I better wait for it to finish so that I can hang it to dry.
Now, Best of the Rest Idol auditions...The girl that tried out last year, and is singing Footprints in the Sand this year has a pretty voice. Amanda Shectman - the girl that can talk with her mouth closed...I dunno what it was about her, but as soon as I saw her I knew she'd be able to sing. I really like her voice. She is definitely a drama queen though. Haha Simon is the greatest. I can't watch the rest right now because I really should get some sleep, I'll try to tomorrow morning while I fold laundry. Before I go though...I'll leave you with this link. If you ask me, this is absolutely ridiculous!

Make sure you watch the video. How many different songs could you play over top of one another and hear the same tune? Give it a rest! Your views?
Good Night :) xx

It is because of the lack of sunshine that you are so tired and dreary and don't want to do anything.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Down Under that is total crap. Someone has a lot of effin time on their hands to dream this one up..there is no way that is the same song. OMG get a life who ever you are.
I am glad that you Had time with Helly today and you had a nice time.
Be sure to tell her that you enjoyed yourself and your times together like that. It is always nice to hear.
I guess from now on I will have to take notes during American Idol so I know who my favs are and if I agree with you. We usually do but I will put it on paper.
Hope your laundry was dry for you to take with you. Guess if not you can just put it on the back seat of the car.
Drive safe you know I will worry.
Love you lots
