Day 140

The knocks didn't come til 10:30 today. And at least there were knocks! The only thing is, when Zach knocks...he doesn't listen. He just keeps knocking. I asked who it was, I tried saying come in, I even tried just saying "Yes?", and I got no response. No speaking response that is. Nope, I just got the continuous knocking for what seemed like 5 minutes straight. Then, Tim's sister in-law came up to tell her son and Zach to leave me alone. I dragged myself out of bed, opened the door, and told Zach I was telling him he could come in. "Oh! I didn't hear you." was his response. He looked at me, said hi, and turned to walk away. Both Shelly and I went, "Is that it?" It sure was. He knocked for 5 minutes, just to say hi. What a funny little monster.

Well...time to wake up I guess. I sat in bed and went on my computer. I waited until the craziness died down a bit, and ventured out to get my fruit. Only long enough to chop it up and say hi to everyone that was down there...then I came back up to finish speaking to my brother. Eventually I decided it was time to get ready. And so I did. It was really nice though. I played my music, and danced like a fool while doing my make up. I took my time. Seriously, a couple of hours. It was great. In the middle of doing my eye shadow, there was a knock at my door. Zach wanted to tell me how amazing the cake was. I told him to show me, so the two of us went downstairs and took a look. I soon returned to finish getting ready, and rocking out. Eventually I made my way back downstairs, and sat with Nathaniel and Zach to watch some Spongebob. Josh came in, and then one of Nathaniel's friends arrived. Nathaniel had asked me about Fantastic 4 - Rise of the Silver Surfer. He wanted to know who I played, and if you could see it was me. I told him no, but explained I was in other shows that you could see up close. He asked to see. I came up to get my laptop, and waited for the show to load. By the time I came up on the screen, none of them were really interested anymore.

Ah yes, before I go much further, I should tell you all, despite my efforts to have Jerry removed, she is still very much alive, kicking, and in the vacinity. No one seems to care that there could soon be thousands of little Jerry's running around my bathroom. Awesome. I must say though, I was worried the other day when I thought she had died. She was looking a little darker than usual and not moving. But when I returned a little while later, she had gone back into the blind hole, and she has been seen time and time again since then.

The boys played some Wii, and I spoke to Nathaniel's friends' mom. It was then time for the birthday party. I hadn't planned on going. That didn't seem to matter. Nathaniel wanted me to be there. We all jumped in the cars and headed to the swimming pool for the Spongebob themed party. - I must say, Tim's cake was very impressive. Perhaps not as impressive as Archie's moms...but apparently whenever the two party share, Sally is bound to win the cake off. She is very talented. She reminds me of my Mom, only no one could beat my Mom in awesomeness. We got to the hall, and the kids began to poor in. I stood in the pool area for a bit, but then decided to join my Uncle and Aunt on the couches in the lounge area. After about an hour, they all came back in for food. Once that was gulped down, it was time for pass the parcel. As they were doing that, parents began showing up, and that's where the party ended. They collected their cake and their goody bags, and left. Again...leaving with the slice of cake in the napkin, and the boys had yet to open their gifts. So weird.

We cleaned up and came home. I watched Nathaniel open his gifts while drinking a cup of tea, and then decided to come up to bed. Now I'm all comfy, I'll be asleep soon. Good Night xx

  1. So first of all I understand you were not asleep soon. :0( Sorry to hear that.
Now WEIRD is an understatement. Taking their cake home in a napkin and not opening presents that are given to them at the party. Guess that is why they have to send out thank you cards cause they don't know what they got and can't say thank you there and then.
So nice that you think I am awsome. Thank you. :0) Did you take any pics of the cake?
You and I are so alike in so many ways. Guess that makes you pretty awsome as well....Today while putting my make up on up in my bedroom I opened my doors out to the deck and blaired my music and danced like a fool and took my time putting my make up on as well. lol
Now I don't have anyone knocking at my door but I do have a puppy that sits on the bottom step and every so many minutes lets out one bark to let me know she is there and does not want anything really. Maybe she is just wanting to say hi. lol
On that note I will sign off but saying "knock knock"
    lol
My comments are almost becoming as long as your blogs. I will have to stop writing so much.
    Love you lots
    Miss you tons

  2. I wish I had that little puppy barking here. No don't stop writing so much!
I did take pics of both cakes, I'll have to post them later. Apparently taking the cake home, and the presents are British tradition...or so it seems. Remind me to ask Dad. Heloise says it's normal.
Speak to you soon. Love and Miss you so much xoxoxoxox
