Day 135

I've left my blog until night again. Oops! I just ran out of time today. There wasn't a minute where I could just stop and jot down (or type) what I had done so far. So here we are, 9:30, - which isn't TOO bad, and I'm just starting out.

My day started off well...Actually, not much went wrong today. The boys were a little annoying at times, but that's expected. They still have certain things they need to learn, but I believe that will come with time. I went downstairs after getting ready, and I had my banana and did some crosswords while letting Tim get the boys their breakfast. We did homework, and then I walked them up, in the cold, to school. Once again we were some of the only people in the playground at about 10 to. Poor Josh was freezing, as he was standing there in tights. Today was Roman day for the Year 4's, so he decided he would wear tights under the skirt. Something I said took guts. I was proud of him. I wanted to get a picture of him because his outfit looked great, but I had forgotten in the morning, and by the time I saw him in the afternoon, he had changed.

After dropping them, I walked up to the bank, took out money for Jazzercise, and crossed the street to go into the hall. I was early, but the instructor was there so I got to enjoy the heat while I helped collapse and move some tables off the stage. I did my hour of Jazzercise, and to be honest, I love it. It was harder today, but that's definitely a good thing. It made me feel like I was accomplishing something. Something I'd later ruin, but we'll get to that closer to the end of this blog.

After Jazzercise, I went into the doctors to see if I could book an appointment about my rib. Don't be so silly! I have to call from 8am on tomorrow to see if I can get in. The whole system is a joke here. Anyway, I walked home from there, and sat down at the table where I enjoyed one of my last bowls of cereal. Man I'm gonna miss that! It's ok though. I'm psyching myself up for this change. It's going to do wonders for me. I know it. I finished eating, jumped in the shower, changed and Heloise and I headed out to the shops. She had gone into her new placement school today to meet with the head master, and the only other thing she had to do was an exam at 2 o'clock, so we looked around for Nathaniel's birthday presents. Mission accomplished! I got him 2 books I think he'll enjoy. The two of us went into Starbucks to enjoy a drink, and Heloise got a sandwich. Then we split up. She went to do her test, and I went to HMV. I then spent a good 20 minutes looking for the washrooms. It's so weird here. There aren't any in the mall. You have to walk outside and to the City Hall to go. I couldn't believe it. Anyway, i eventually found them, then went on a hunt for jeans. I found some heels along the way :D And went back to HMV to buy a couple of DVD's. I met back up with Heloise, we walked to a store called GAME, where she bought Nathaniel a Wii game I can't wait to play :p It's the new Super Mario Brothers. I also found the manager to be very attractive with amazing eyes, and I did not want to stop talking to him. Unfortunately though, our conversation had to come to an end. That didn't stop Heloise and I talking about him as we left the mall, but I'll have to go buy "Just Dance" if I want to see him again.

We drove home where we met up with my Uncle Clifford and Aunt Jill who had picked the boys up from school and were waiting for us to go for Nathaniel's birthday dinner. His actual birthday isn't until the 28th, but tonight worked better for everyone. I did really well with ordering something sensible to eat. THEN, the waiter told me because my salad was on the specials list, it meant I got a dessert as well. I didn't want to, but I also didn't want to waste anyone's money. Little did I know that Heloise would say no without hesitation. I ordered a banana, pancake, toffee ice cream thing. DAMMIT! I was full by the time it got to the table, so you can imagine the disgust I had with myself by the time we made it home. D Day definitely begins tomorrow. I used to have will power...but since moving here, that little voice has disappeared, and it makes me angry, so I'm going to do something about it. I've decided I let myself eat the way I do because there's no consequence (aside from my getting fat - which should be enough to stop me...but that's not the way it is right now) Anyway, I decided no treats, and I will write down what I'm allowed to eat each day. If for some reason I can't do it, and I treat myself, I will deprive myself of popcorn the next time I go to the movies. That will be my consequence. Believe me, it should be enough to get me back on track. Sitting through a movie without popcorn would be hell. So there's my plan. I intend on sticking to it. We were, or I was, completely embarrassed when they brought out our dessert. They stopped the music that was playing, put on this really loud parade type music that turned into Happy Birthday, and marched over to the table with Nathaniel's dessert holding a single candle in the center. Everyone was staring at us. The way he looked at me with his one tooth hanging down (he lost one of his front ones the other day), made me laugh because he looked like an angry pirate. He was happy, but definitely looked surprised and a little embarrassed.

After getting home, I spoke to my Mom on the phone and on Skype. Now I'm going to do a crossword, and then hopefully get to sleep at a decent time. Good Night xx
