What a relaxing day!! Sort of...
Of course it was silly of me to stay up until 2:30, thinking I would be able to sleep in. But what was worse, was that I had no idea the boys don't have football (soccer), for the next month. This meant that the volume level in the Downes household was raised for much longer than usual. Making it harder and harder to get back to sleep each time I was woken up. It wasn't however, until heavy footsteps entered my dream, that I woke up for good. Suddenly a small, but loud Zachary barged through my door. All the while...knocking of course. I looked up, and all that came out of my mouth was "No Zach". And I flopped my head back down on my pillow as he closed the door and walked out. If he left so willingly...why couldn't I go back to sleep? Well that's another story. You see, as soon as he left, I heard tears. Oh no! Did I make him cry? Nope! Soon after the tears, came Tim yelling at Josh for pushing Zach. Josh was trying to get Zach to stop screaming because Heloise had just told him not to wake me up by screaming. When Josh tried to stop him, Zach wasn't listening, and Josh pushed him. Thus leading to the noise coming from Tim, which clearly meant I was not shutting my eyes again anytime soon. I rolled over, grabbed my laptop, and spoke to my Mom online for a bit. Toni text me soon after, and the two of us decided we would be going to the 3:15 showing of Sherlock Holmes.
I eventually rose out of bed, got ready - all but my make up - and went downstairs for breakfast. Right after my cereal, I came up, and did my make up. I was listening to my music and having a great relaxing time, painting my nails and such. Then, there was a knock at my door. Josh had come up asking if he could read to me. He had to get his homework done, Tim told him to read out loud for 10 minutes, and Tim was too busy to listen, so Josh had to come ask me. He sat on my bed and read while I cleaned up a little bit, and did another coat of polish on my nails. When he finished, I closed the door and continued to relax. Ahhh Michael Buble up as loud as it would go before the speakers distorted the sound. Perfect. - SPEAKING of Michael Buble! - John, Tim's dad...had 4 tickets and has sold two of them :| He didn't think anyone would want them AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! He's apparently save 2 for him and I guess his gf :( I'm crushed as both shows are sold out. Anyway, I listened to my music, and did some stuff on the computer, finished my nails and played some DS. By this time, I was falling asleep. I looked at the time, to see if I could squeeze a nap in...but I wasn't sure I'd hear my phone when it rang, so I forgot about that idea. A few minutes later, I was staring at my computer...then my eyes were shutting. Luckily it was just as they shut, not giving me enough time to fall into a deep sleep, that Toni text me saying she was just leaving.
I got ready, waited a bit, and then went downstairs. Nathaniel was standing there, and saw me in my coat. "Are you going out?" Heloise asked. I said yes, and Nathaniel asked where I was going. I told him the movies, and his response was "Ohhhh I've hardly seen you!" Heloise told him that wasn't exactly true, to which he said "I mean today!" Poor guy! How cute is that? Heloise then said "Well that's because Maija is not supposed to take care of you guys on the weekend is she?" Nathaniel disagreed with her. She said I probably wanted to get away on weekends. That's when her friends said I probably wanted to get away during the week as well. Little did they know that SOMETIMES that statement is in fact the truth. Anyway, Toni arrived shortly after. I met her outside, and off we went.
When we got to the theatre, the parking lot was packed. We managed to find a spot, and waited in line to get our tickets. The previews had already started, but we of course needed popcorn. Once we were done getting that, we walked into theatre number 8, not expecting what was to come. "Sherlock Holmes" has been out for weeks now, so we thought we'd be safe. We were wrong. We ended up sitting in the 2nd row, and to the right of the screen. Ew!
The movie was good though, and after the first little while, you eventually forgot how close you were to the screen. When the movie ended, Toni drove me home, and when I came in the door I went upstairs to put my things away. When I came back down, I noticed Josh wasn't home. Oh yeah! He had swimming tonight. I spoke to Heloise, and then sat at the breakfast table to write RSVP instructions on all of Nathaniel's invitations for his party that will take place on the 24th. After sticking the last Spongebob sticker on as the seal to the invitation, I cleaned everything up, said good night, and came up to catch up on some TV. I NEED to watch Grey's Anatomy. I decided I'd have a cup of tea, and check some e-mails. Then I decided to get a start on my blog. Well, now I've finished it, my tea is almost done, and I think I'm going to jump in the shower and get ready for bed before I get too comfy watching Patrick Dempsey. Maybe, I'll even get to sleep a little earlier! (Doubt it). Speak to you tomorrow. Good Night xx

OMG Michael......I would have to get John's e-mail from someone somewhere. As if ahhhhhhhhhh
ReplyDeleteI would e-mail him and tell him you heard he had 4 tickets to Michael and that you would love to buy the other two if he still has them. That you were trying to get tickets on line and they were sold out. You never know if he comes across any others he will think of you. After all it is Michael. Do what you can.
Too cute that Nathaniel is missing you when you are there. Nice that you have weekends off though. Poor Josh trying to let you sleep and still getting in trouble. He just can't catch a break. :0(
Glad you liked the movie.
Hope you got a good nights sleep.
Love you lots
Miss you tons
