Day 124

I am absolutely exhausted...and for good reason! I wish I could go right to sleep...but I have yet to write my blog. Why did I leave it so late? Now my internet isn't working for some reason. Awesome.

Let's see...how did today start? Oh yes, same as every other day. I woke up, not wanting to get out of bed, I forced myself anyway. I got dressed and went downstairs to handle breakfast. While I ate I did some word searches. When the boys finished, they did their homework. I then walked them up to school in OF COURSE, the rain.

When we arrived, Josh and Nathaniel went in. Zach didn't want to line up, and looked as if he was about to cry when I told him I wasn't allowed in to help him change his shoes. Poor little guy. I walked home, and I watched American Idol. I made many notes on the episode, but I am far too tired to go into what I think, right now. I will say one thing though...that 62 year old was awesome. For some reason, I could picture Alfred doing something like that. Odd I know...but that's who he reminded me of. Anyway, unfortunately as I've had such a long day (up at 6:30, and not finished working until about 10:30), I am sitting in my bed literally falling asleep as I type. SO, seeing as my internet is not working right now anyway, I am going to put this blog on hold. I will probably be woken up very early tomorrow, so I will stay in my room and type out the rest. If by some miracle, I don't get woken up...I will write after Spy Masters. Sorry that by the time you've read this, I will have disappointed you. It will just be a LOUSY blog if I do it now. I cannot keep my eyes open. More later!

Ok so here I am with about half an hour to write before the madness starts. Let's get back to yesterday.

So as I was watching American Idol, waiting for the groceries to arrive. - That's a whole other topic! - Never, unless you were without a car...will I understand ordering your groceries online - Anyway...I get a phone call from the driver. He can't find the house. I give him the street name and he hangs up. Not 10 minutes later, I get another call. Now he doesn't know which house it is. I open the door, and am waiting for him. - Keep in mind, he is wasting my valuable American Idol time. Not to mention the fact that if I didn't have to wait for him, I would have been at the hair dressers - So he walks up, and starts giving me crap. Telling me there are 48 drivers, and 21 of them would have given up on finding the house. He said they would have taken the groceries back and not made the delivery. He then proceeded to tell me that we had to add more direction details to the delivery form. Whatever! Maybe you should be happy that there are people out there who think grocery delivery is convenient...therefore giving you your job. Jerk.

By the time I put the groceries away, I didn't have time to walk up to the hair dressers. I got my coat and stuff on, and walked up, in the rain, to get Zach. When I picked him up, I asked him what he did at school. He wouldn't answer me. That's not the first time. After asking over and over, he finally said something. "I want Mommy". I explained that like every other day, Mommy was at work and would be home soon. He still wouldn't answer me, so I had a conversation with him about how I don't like when he ignores me. He wasn't giving any acknowledgement or sign that he was even paying attention, so I said how would you like it if I ignored you when you asked me questions? Still nothing. Then...a few minutes later, he said "What's that house?" ... I didn't answer. He said "I'll tell you if you answer what that house is". I still didn't answer. It was a very quiet walk home. When we got back, he told me he wanted to play lego. He didn't get a response. He sat and looked out the window. I started making lunch. I walked into the family room and got a dirty look. You could tell he was bored and wanted to say something, but he held back and moved to the other couch where he flopped himself down. I went back in the kitchen to finish lunch, and that's when Heloise got home. She went in to say hi to him, and as I put his lunch on the table she asked if I knew he was asleep. "Oh, no I didn't. He wasn't talking to me, so I told him I'd ignore him, and I guess soon after that he fell asleep" was the only response I had. I left his lunch on the table, and she let him sleep.

I took the car and ran up to the hair dresser's hoping to get my ear pierced and get my hair washed. Well, my hair's clean...but I'm still waiting for that extra hole. Turns out they don't pierce the part of the ear that I want done. I have to go into town for that. Hopefully I'll get to this week. There were 2 horses and a carriage outside of the hair dressers, apparently waiting for an unsuspecting bride to be dropped off. How nice is that?! I returned home, and Zach was eating. I think he told me he liked my hair, but it was too quiet and Heloise was speaking so I can't be sure. We were heading out to Tesco's and he began fooling around. Loudly enough for Heloise to hear I said oh, are you speaking to me now? And he said "I just said hi, that's talking isn't it?" Heloise told him not to be cheeky. We left, got gas, and went to do a very quick grocery shop for the party. Zach wanted to be carried, and Heloise finds him too heavy, so I picked him up and we walked around the store. The two of us were having fun. It was really nice, as it usually is when him and I are in our own little world. He began complaining about wanting something in the store. He didn't know what the item was, he just wanted it because he wanted to buy something. I made sure he knew I thought he was acting spoiled. He didn't like that. He wanted to walk with his mom. I put him down, and we finished up the groceries. We unloaded everything into the trunk, and drove off to get Nathaniel from school.

Zach and I waited in the car. I was falling asleep. Nathaniel always takes ages to come out. Heloise returned with him, and asked Zach if he wanted to go to a friends' place. Off he went. We got home and Nathaniel had 30 mins to get ready and eat dinner before my Uncle picked him up for soccer. By this time, I had begun to make the cake for Josh's party. Baking here is a nightmare. I can't wait to go out and buy measuring cups! Heloise insists you don't need to measure, but I disagree. She set the oven too high by accident, and I was told to use certain pans...certain pans that were too big. So when the 2 tiers of the cake came out...they were a little burnt, and hadn't risen. Great! (We later made a 3rd tier which came out much better). While I was working on the two burning ones, Heloise left to get Josh and his friends. - They were at soccer at school - About 7 of them returned. One was to come later. We got them all dinner and dessert, and they played wii and got ready for Cubs. Tim got home and trucked them all over to Cubs, where they'd be visiting a fire hall. I made the 3rd tier of the cake, and was icing it all together when Josh came in and told me he got to use the fire hose. They began to play wii. It wasn't the best idea because they chose to play cricket. A game that not everyone could take part in, so all but Josh and one other were sitting on the couch bored. Tim tried to help, Josh got in a mood and went upstairs. I suggested they all play Mario Kart. Some of them thought that was a great idea. It didn't happen though. Josh came down, and they decided they would all watch a movie. Tim put Harry Potter on, and I made them hot chocolate and popcorn. I then made myself a cup of hot chocolate and sat down for a minute to relax and speak to my Mom online. Getting more and more tired, I decided to come up to my room. (That was after searching for, and finding my parents in "The Fringe"). It was then that I decided I was entirely too tired to keep my eyes open long enough to write my blog. That, and the internet completely disappeared for about 10 minutes, and by the time I got back on, I couldn't be bothered to attempt the write up. So here it is. A day late...but it's here.

Speak to you soon xx

  1. You would not believe how big Pants on the Ground has become here. It is crazy everyone is putting music to it and everytime you are in the car one of the radio stations is playing it. My picks I will tell you about on msn cause I don't remember their names but their stories and how freakkin good looking one is and he is a crooner. I want to say Justin or Jason but not sure.

Thank you or finding the time to write your blog. You know for the people that tune in everyday it would have been devastating to sign in and see nothing...omg the thoughts we would have. lol
So now that I have caught up with you I better get my day started.
I hope you are sane enough after the party to write about it all tonight.
