I'm sitting here watching Vinny Jones on Big Brother...AWESOME! What's too bad, is the fact that their Big Brother is rubbish! I have slippers on, I'm wrapped in a fleece, my hoodie is up to my nose, my hands are covered as I have thumb holes in my sleeves, yet I STILL feel like I've been sitting in a freezer! I swear it is colder in this house, than it is outside. That's not right is it?
I got up this morning feeling refreshed, but so warm that I still didn't want to get up. Too bad that wasn't an option. I got ready and was the first person to come downstairs. I got my breakfast, and when Josh came down I got his too. Then as soon as I sat down, there was Nathaniel. I got his, Tim came down and did what he had to do, and then left for work.
I got the boys to do their homework, Heloise left the house, and then the boys and I got ready to leave. We walked up to the school where I dropped all 3, and then I continued on to the grocery store. You see...I had run out of Soy milk the day before, so I didn't get to have cereal for breakfast...instead I had toast :| I picked up my milk, and came home. - On the way I heard a lady say "Morning Chester, Morning Maria". When I looked up, I fully expected to see 3 people standing there...instead it was a dog, and his owner. Yes the lady who approached the door, greeted the dog before the owner...and as if he was human. Just thought it was a little odd. - For lunch later...I had cereal. It was delicious. I spent my morning colouring my scrapbook, and listening to music. A couple of hours later, I walked back up to the school to get Zach.
He came out of school in his alien hat, and all the mom's thought it was the cutest thing ever. The two of us walked home, and when we arrived I made lunch, and did some laundry. Zach finished eating and we began to put his Spongebob lego together. He of course gave up after a few minutes, and sat down to watch TV telling me to call him whenever I needed him. He checked back with me every now and then to see if any pieces needed to be set aside. How thoughtful hehe.
Eventually it was time to get the boys. We got ready and walked back to the school. On our way, we found Heloise. She was picking Nathaniel up and taking him and Zach to swimming. Josh's football was canceled cuz of the snow, so the two of us walked back home. I had chugged some tea before leaving, so by the time I got in and upstairs...I was doing a dance. I made the two of us some hot chocolate, and Josh did his homework while I worked on Zach's lego. Heloise and the boys walked in soon enough, and after some more building, Josh and I went to play Mario and Sonic's Winter Olympics.
Heloise called us for dinner, we ate, and then the boys went up to bed while I built some more. I decided to put Spongebob to the side for the night, and that's when I came into the family room to watch TV and await the first episode of "Glee". I'm so glad England's finally going to have it!
Oh yes and I tried to save a lady bug today. I carried it from the bathroom floor, all the way outside. Then the phone rang and he wouldn't get off my finger, so I tried to get him onto a twig. The phone kept ringing and I was getting frustrated so I tried to hurry. And that's when he plunged to what I am almost certain was his death :( Oops.
Okay, I can't feel my hands anymore...and I'm going to try to cover myself in this fleece a little more, as my nose is numb as well...so Good Night xx

Well it is crazy how cold it is there and that is one of the reasons Nan does not like to go there in the winter. One of many but at least now you can understand why she feels that way. I remember last time dad and I were there dad slept in his clothes that is how cold he was.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope there are pics on facebook of this spongebob lego that Zac has spent so much time on. lol
I am sure if the fall did not kill the ladybug the snow will and that was probably the reason he was in the house to start with. Way to go Maija. It probably took him like 4 days to get there and you carried him out and dropped him on the ground. hahahahahaha
Hope you warm up soon.
Love you lots
Miss you tons

Hahahaha I thought the same thing about the snow and the ladybug...but I wasn't sure where else to put him. If I left him in the house Jelly woulda got him. I shouldn't have messed with him. :| What a terrible person I am.
ReplyDeleteMom, I am so glad you know how freakin' cold it is here! Everyone else is like you can't be cold, you're in England. But they have NO IDEA what it's like.
haha don't worry, I'll take pics of the Spongebob lego. I didn't get a chance to work on it today. Guess I have a job to do tomorrow.
Sorry Tara :| I thought I knew me too.
I may have had to hurt you if you told me anything about Glee. I'm listening to some of the soundtrack right now. I may be addicted. Oh, and I too love Mr. Schuster.
