How did it get so late? Such a lazy day, and yet, it's already 11:30, and I'm falling asleep. Sigh. Where does the time go?
I woke up and got ready. Had breakfast with everyone, and then the boys (Minus Zach), left for Cricket. I was on my laptop for a good part of the morning, as Zach didn't want me watching TV with him, and Heloise was working. I painted my nails, and put some video together for a "movie" I'm hoping you'll all be able to watch. It will take a while to finish it, but hopefully it will look good once it's done.
Eventually Heloise, Zach and I went out. We headed to Seidelberg first. - That's where they do the glass blowing - Zach wanted to get a paperweight. When we pulled up, there was a van there that said "Daksi Cab", and it had a picture of Dachshunds on it. I was going to take a picture on our way out, but we left in a hurry, right after the purchase was made. Heloise was afraid she'd left the garage door open...and she was right. We fixed that, and headed to Paarl mall. We ate at a restaurant that had a trampoline so that Zach could play while we waited for our food. I'm not sure he ever actually made it on there though.
As soon as we ate, we left the mall and came home. When we arrived, I put some more video together. Zach and I then tried to watch "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", but we only had the extras disc. I put on Marley and Me, and without giving it a chance, Zach left the room. I sat there and watched...and cried. (I didn't actually let out the tears until I knew I was alone though). Zach and Heloise went for a swim until it was time for them to leave for the airport. We gave each other hugs, and off they went. It was then that I came in, watched the end of the movie, and cried.
I decided to turn on the music and go for a swim. I couldn't find the Michael Buble album, so I made do with Rod Stewart. I didn't stay in too long, but it was a nice swim. When I got out and got changed, I got back onto my computer. My goodness it was weird to have silence. Well...by silence, I mean loud music, and no interruptions. I worked on my video some more and spoke to people...and I've been doing pretty much the same thing all night. I was lying on my bed, but I recently got so tired that I had to get changed and crawl right in. I have 3 movies and a Michael Buble DVD sitting beside me that I thought I would watch...but I am exhausted. Plus with the fact that I don't have an alarm, I should probably go to sleep at a decent time so that I can attempt to wake up around 8:30. Here's hoping!
I don't arrive in England until what will be Tuesday morning for me, so I will have to combine the days again. Tuesday night I'll write about everything I do tomorrow and Tuesday. Hope you enjoyed my South African adventures as much as I did! Good Night xx
