My goodness. So much to do, and I feel like I have no time. I almost forgot about writing my blog tonight. Can you believe it?
I didn't have a very long or good sleep last night, so when I woke up this morning, I needed a lot of encouragement to get out of bed. "You have to go get your boots" I kept telling myself. It worked! I got ready and went downstairs to do breakfasts and homework. Luckily the boys didn't have too much that had to be done, so that part was a little more relaxed than usual. We got our shoes on and left for school.
Josh left us as usual. Then Nathaniel went in, and Zach and I took his Christmas cards to preschool. He also had some to pick up as he was going to Angels today instead of his regular class. When we arrived at Angels, it was a dress up party so we changed him quickly into his costume. - Jack Sparrow of course - And then in he went. From there I drove to Colchester. I know how to get there without getting turned around now. It's a great feeling.
My first stop OF COURSE was The Office, to get my boots. I picked them up, took a deep breath, and asked if they had my size. YES! THEY DID! She came through the door and I tried them on once more, just to make sure it was the same size they brought out yesterday. PERFECT! Purchase made, smile on my face, and out the door to Starbucks. Venti Soy Chai Tea Latte to go, and then a quick look around, and back into the car to head back to Angels.
Once I got into the parking lot there, I was walking up to post a letter and ran into Xavier's Mom. The boys were going back to her place, and to give me some more time in the post office, she decided she would meet me back at the boys school, to pick up the 3rd one. Once everything was done and all the boys were loaded into her vehicle, she lead the way and we went to her place for lunch. They ate, and I got some wonderful baby cuddles practically the entire time I was there. His name is Emilio (EMILLLLLLIO! - that's for you Tara), and he's so cute! He's 5 months old. When the boys were done, it was time for them to make a gingerbread house and decorate some cookies. They had a lot of fun, and were decorating just fine...until they realized they didn't have to decorate the house to eat the icing. They began sucking it right out of the packet. It looked pretty tasty I'm not gonna lie. They finished up and played a little bit, and then watched some of "Polar Express". It was time to go get Josh and Nathaniel so Zach, Noah and I jumped into the car and off we went. As usual, Zach fell asleep on the way. We parked and I carried him into the playground while holding Noah's hand. His dad met up with us for the hand over, and then Zach and I waited for the other two.
They hurried out as fast as they could go, and we rushed off to the movies. We were going to see "Planet 51" and it started at 4:05. Seeing as Nathaniel's class is never let our on time, we knew it would be a bit of a challenge, and the traffic didn't help. BUT we arrived with enough time to get our tickets, popcorn and a drink, and in we went. The movie was good, and we saw a ton of previews for things we will want to see together in the future. The boys seemed to really enjoy themselves and thanked me a few times.
When we got home it was 6:30. Josh had cubs at 7 so he had to shovel his dinner down quickly. Tim's sister and her 2 children are here for the weekend, so I ate with the kids, and Tim and Jane ate after. Heloise is out for dinner tonight. I wrote a Christmas card and convinced my cousin Tom to come up today instead of tomorrow morning. Now I'm sitting here with millions of things running through my head. Very excited for tomorrow, but at the same time am a little sad a friend couldn't make it. Hopefully I'll see him sometime soon. I still have to get ready for bed and write some more cards so I really should go. I'm sorry this blog isn't my best and I can tell...but I'm sitting at the kitchen table listening to conversations, and my concentration is as I said, on many other things. I have to be up at 5:30. Why do I do this to myself? I'll tell you why...cuz if I didn't, I wouldn't be my mother's daughter :p I try to cram everything in at once, and then get stressed. Oops. Better go. I'll take pics of my boots tomorrow :D
Good Night xx
