I'M IN LOVE, I'M IN LOVE AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS IT!!!! Ok, so it's with a pair of boots, but still. They are FANTASTIC! Unfortunately they're still at the store. You see, I had a ton of things to do today...and was panicking about when I was going to get what done, as I was now on a time limit.
After what was too short of a sleep, I awoke and got ready. Down the stairs and to the kitchen, I had remembered there hadn't been too much cereal left the day before. I was not looking forward to seeing what was there...or not. I poured some cheerios, and ran upstairs (before anyone could notice), to get some I had bought, and I poured it into my bowl. Success! I went back down and ate with Josh. The boys did their homework (Josh finished his book!!! A day early!!!! - That means I did something righ -) And then they filled out some Christmas cards to take to school.
We were all ready on time today, so we got in the car, and made it to school with time to spare. Josh went off to his class, and Nathaniel, Zach and I played "Guess the animal" until the bell rang. As I got into the car, a friend of Heloise's came over to the door to see if I wanted her to take Zach to Angels. She was taking her son anyway, and I had lots to do...Zach was definitely not protesting, so I said sure. She took him into her vehicle, and I headed to Colchester.
I had to pull over on the way, as I felt sooooo sick...but that wasn't going to stop me. It was TIME TO SHOP!! Now because of my previous experience of shoe shopping in England...I figured that would be a lost cause today. I looked in a few stores, but nothing caught my eye. I decided to put that aside for a minute, and do the boys Christmas shopping. Well...I had fun! I found exactly what I wanted, and more! (I even got Zach's birthday present!!! And I don't even know when he turns 5 :p) I then set out to Starbucks. Mmmmm heaven! I came out of there and saw the same shoe store I always go to in Colchester. Every time I go, I get disappointed, and feel like a giant...so my hopes were not high. I stepped in...and there they were. Hopes still not high, as they NEVER have my size, I asked for an 8 or a 9. She came back with an 8, so I refrained from getting excited. Then, I slipped the boot on and OH MY GOD! That was it. I loved them. I wanted them so badly! Even some random lady in the store got her friends' attention, and said how great they looked on me. That was it. I was excited!! I stood up, and knowing full well that I could not afford them after buying all those gifts, I asked if they could hold them until the same time tomorrow. They said no :| I couldn't believe it. I tried to figure out how I could do it...but I couldn't use my Canadian Visa...so I left the store PRAYING they'll still be there when I go back tomorrow. If they're not, I can order online...and that's fine, I will do that...it will just mean I don't have them for my birthday, and that's when I would really like to wear them...so my fingers are still crossed.
I looked at the time and couldn't believe how well I was doing. I could have looked for Heloise and Tim's gifts but decided I would head home early to get most of my cleaning done so I wouldn't have to do it later. Good thing too, cuz when I got back, I found out we were leaving for Zach's play much earlier than we were going to. I got changed and put my Ipod on and away I went. I dusted all of the upstairs and saw more spiders than I've ever seen at once. It was gross. I then vacuumed and before I could finish, it was time to go. I only had one room left so I wasn't too worried.
My Aunt, Heloise and I got to the hall so early that we were first in line. I went to get a coffee and a hot chocolate for us to drink while we waited outside. The Angels started filing in, and that's exactly what Zach was. He looked so cute! After some time, we were finally allowed in the building. We got great seats right in front of where Zach was, but we all forgot our cameras :$ So the only pics/video I have are from my cell phone. It's not the best quality. Zach said his line very clearly. He said the wrong number to begin his sentence, but he was great nonetheless. He even sat there singing along to the Christmas carols as he was falling asleep. Hahaha he couldn't stop yawning, and I was sure the little guy behind him was going to fall off the stage. He could hardly keep his eyes open. It was too sweet.

We drove home, Heloise went to drop Zach at the boys school as they were all going to a friend's for dinner, and I grabbed some lunch...some cereal actually. I wanted to enjoy a bowl, and this morning's wasn't the right mixture. I cleaned while I ate, and when I finished I came upstairs to pick up where I had left off. I did the vacuuming, and then changed my bedding. I went downstairs to check some e-mails, as I hadn't been on all day. But it wasn't too long after I logged on, that Heloise and Zach got home. I logged off, put the groceries away and made a delicious supper for myself. - Tim and Heloise were having curry - I made a chicken, noodle, vegetable stir fry with some sage and pesto in it. It was nice, and I ate entirely too much. Zach and Heloise joined me at the table, and when I finished, I came up to get ready for bed.
Now I'll upload some pics, get some stuff done while I sit here, and hopefully fall asleep sooner than I did yesterday. Good Night xx
OH MY GOODNESS!!! How could I forget to tell you?!?!?! One of my purchases today was a Christmas tree and some decorations. I love it!
OH MY! Zach looked so cute! I picked him out right away in the small picture and then clicked on it to make it bigger to make sure that it was him for sure. I was right! Woo!
ReplyDeleteYou're tree is soooo tiny! I never would have thought it was that small until I saw your hands next to it (that's what she said!)
