I will however, show you some pictures. First, the crafts we did yesterday morning.
We decided the penguin needed a Christmas hat.
Nathaniel needed one too, but you'll see that when I show you the tree. This is it without lights...
Looks like an ordinary tree right?
Well this...is the finished product.
Now...about my day. It was a nice relaxing one actually. As "The Beast" still wasn't fixed, I couldn't drive Zach to Angels, so after getting ready, doing homework and drawing, I walked Josh and Nathaniel up to school, and my Uncle Clifford picked Zach up.
Once the boys went to their classes, I walked home along the high street. I stopped in a couple of stores looking for things, but came out of each one empty handed. I had a conversation with the neighbour. She didn't believe me when I said I was doing ok, because of how slowly I was strolling along I guess. But I explained that I was in my own little world and enjoying the quiet. As soon as I said those words...she understood. I really was out of it though. I attempted to look for Christmas cards...but in Kelvedon, that's kind of a joke. I picked out some mediocre ones at the post office, but then I wasn't allowed to use my card unless I spent 8 pound. I started looking around the store to just grab whatever so I could get them and continue home, but then I thought why on earth would I pay 16 dollars for cards I don't even like? And I decided to leave.
When I got home, I gathered my computer and a notebook and came downstairs. I watched a lot of TV today. Not just shows, but movie after movie. It was so nice and quiet...but I felt like I was going to be sick the entire day. Heloise was in the study working, and I had all the free time I wanted. I did get quite a bit accomplished. I decided what I was getting the boys for Christmas, wrote some important e-mails, and touched base with someone in London. A contact that may be able to help me out in the future. So all in all, although it was a lazy day spent on the couch...I was still able to be productive. I also went on Google Streets and found my old house. I took a trip down memory lane with a few people and reminisced about the good times. For those of you who lived on this one street in particular, you'll probably remember "Hey Jean Guy, Let's go get some firewood!" and "I Can Play?" - Both said with a french accent. I had a good laugh with a cousin, my brother and my sister. It was awesome, but made me miss those days.
I received some mail today! Some REAL mail! I was soooo happy! Some cards from My Aunt Cindy and Uncle Paul, a Starbucks card!!!!!!!! And some stickers for the boys :) I love getting mail. More TV, checking of e-mails and farms, cafe's, and fish tanks...then I made a pet. I'll have to take care of him along with everything else now...but that's ok cuz he's cute. I named him Steve. He's purple, has crazy hair and horns...and he makes cute noises when you give him treats or clean him up. - This is all on Facebook -
The boys had their swimming tonight instead of yesterday, but because it's a Tuesday, and I have no car, my Uncle took them to that as well. He picked them right up from school, took them there, and then back to his place for dinner. That gave me more time to just hang out. When they got home Aunt Jill provided Heloise, Tim and I with dinner. Heloise took the boys up to bed, I ate, and Tim wasn't home yet. As soon as I finished, I jumped in the shower and crawled into bed, where I'm now going to crash. Good Night xx
Love the penguin and the tree looks lovely.
