300 days to go!
Wow. That seems like a lot...but at the same time, the first 65 went by extremely fast. I guess I think it's a lot because right now I am really missing home. Visits will do that to you. Especially GREAT visits.
So back to the grind today. I had an early night which made it easier, but still a bit of a struggle to be out of bed at 6:30. I jumped right up, but I would have been happier with a couple more hours of sleep I am sure.
Finished feeding the boys breakfast, they did their homework and got ready...amazingly, I had them in the car by 8:30! They were ready and at the door, and I thought if I made them stand there too long, something would happen and we would end up being late. So I piled them into the car, heated it up, and pulled it out to wait for my Uncle Clifford. He got here soon after, and we drove Josh and Nathaniel to school - where they were, for some reason, extremely early - Even at the time people regularly showed up, we were the only ones standing there. Once the playground began filling up, and the boys went in, Zach, Uncle Clifford and I went to Angels. Driving was fine. It was probably a good thing I didn't do any while I was back in Canada, because I had to think twice about where I was going a couple of times, but it really just came naturally for the most part.
Once Zach went into his class, I drove Uncle Clifford back to the house so he could get his car and leave. I went up to the hair dressers, then came home in time to unpack my big suitcase and get most things set up the way I want. My hand luggage isn't unpacked yet, but that will get done tomorrow, and I'll take pics to show you my room :D
As soon as I finished putting away my makeup and nail polish, it was time to leave and get Zach again. I picked him up, and in the process of trying to give him medicine without me touching the bottle -I'm allergic to it-, I smacked my head on the car door and got a bump. The two of us then walked up the street and to a little cafe we had been to before. We sat down and ordered some lunch. Zach got beans, and you can probably guess this one...SAUSAGES! Orange Juice to drink. I got a prawn avocado sandwich that came with curly fries and a salad. I took one sip of my lemonade and thought I was going to be sick. It tasted like pure alcohol. The waitress said it wasn't, and told me it was just really old fashioned lemonade, but I didn't care for it, so I left it on the table, barely touched. We quickly ate, and I drove Zach to the other 2 boys' school, as today was his induction. He had to change quickly in the car, and I walked him to his classroom. He wasn't too happy when he arrived, and his best friend wasn't there...but they don't tell him his teacher until Friday, so hopefully he'll be in his class.
I left him there and decided to drive to Starbucks. Not even halfway there I felt ill and decided to turn around and come home. (YEAH, come HOME, instead of Starbucks...You know there's something wrong when that happens). So I came back, and Heloise was here doing some planning for school. I sat on the couch with a cup of tea and watched Grey's Anatomy until it was time to go pick up the boys.
Heloise came to the school this time. We picked Zach up first, who was looking ever so smart in his uniform, and seemed to be a very happy boy. He was full of cuddles, and was laughing with me in the playground while we waited for the other two. When they came around, we went into the gym to the book fair. Nathaniel picked out a Spongebob book (He's going to love the stickers I got for the chart). Josh got "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", and Zach got something called "Swat Spider" or "Spider Swat" or something.
We came home and grabbed a snack. Sat down to watch "Angela Anaconda", and Uncle Clifford was there to collect us in no time. We got into his car, and went 'round his place so the boys could swim, and have dinner. I sat in the kitchen this time. I was just exhausted and could hardly keep my eyes open. I focused on Nathaniel's Spongebob book, and that helped a little. We did their homework, they went for a swim, and then we ate. After dinner we came right home. I was nodding off in the car, so I decided to jump in the shower right away, then climb into bed. Now I'm uploading some pictures from the wedding, and talking to my Mom, and soon I will be asleep...sooooo...Good Night xx
