Day 63

Having had just 4 hours of sleep lastnight, and partying hard all day/night at the wedding, I am a VERY sleepy lady. I will not make this a habit, but I wanted to let you know I will not be elaborating on what an AMAZING time I had today. That will have to wait until tomorrow's blog, which I will probably write on what will be Monday morning in England. So Weird!

Anyway, I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can. I have many good stories to tell, and the only clue I will give you, is the best quote of the night. Dave said "Hey Maija, when you're in Africa, please appologize to them". I said "apologize to Africa?" His answer "Yes, had I of known they were still having problems, I would have eaten my macaroni when I was six".

And on that note, I have to say...until next time.
Good Night xx

Alright so here I am, extremely sleepy and ready to add to this entry.
I had such a GREAT time at Adam and Amanda's wedding. The girls and I woke up bright and early to start getting ready. Hair and make up done, downstairs for breakfast with a few of the others, and then back up to get our dresses on.

We all (and by all, I mean about 16 of us) met downstairs, got in our vehicles, and made our way to the church. Many laughs were shared outside in the parking lot, while we took numerous amounts of pictures.

We all headed into the church -our family got the first couple of rows-. Soon after, and many pictures later, the doors opened and in walked Amanda. She looked beautiful. More pictures, and a nice ceremony. The new Mr. and Mrs. Herbert left the church with big smiles on their faces.

Once we all got outside, we posed for a few more pictures, and took many more of our own. My family was one of the last to leave the church, and when we left...we weren't just going back to the hotel. We piled into the van and drove to the mall. Needless to say, walking through the mall in formals, definitely gets you some looks. Finally we arrived at our destination. There we were, standing on a red carpet, fake snow around us, waiting to get our pictures taken with Santa. - He had all sorts of questions about why we were so dressed up, and why we were in Welland -

When we finished that we drove back to the hotel, with a Tim Hortons :| stop along the way. When we got back, we all headed to my Aunt Cindy's room. Everyone but our crew (My family and Stephen's girlfriend Fiona), had changed. Apparently they had all walked up to Subway, and weren't quite as brave as us when it came to getting looks.

After a donut, some munchies and a drink, it was time for everyone else to get ready. We met in the lobby, and took our convoy to the reception.

Through the receiving line, the excitement started to build. We walked into the hall and everything was decorated so nicely. We found our tables, and took our seats. At ours it was Stephen, Fiona, Tara, Kaylie, Bentley, Brian and Nick. Through the speeches, and even on our own, we broke out into laughter quite a few times. What a great dinner! At last, the dancing started. A few of us barely left the dance floor, aside from a couple of bathroom breaks and when the DJ played Rhianna. We jumped around like fools, and sung at the top of our lungs. By 2am, I was sure I wouldn't have a voice left.

We piled back into the van, and all met back in my Aunt's room. We stayed there for a while, and after many of us were falling asleep...I still had to re arrange my packing. And so we walked - sore feet and all - down the hall, to our room. When we arrived we talked, we laughed, we packed. I did the little typing I could on here...and then it was time for some sleep. 4am, and I was out. xx
