It's so late right now, (or...early?) I'm lying in bed and completely forgot to write my blog, until I was in the washroom getting ready for bed and realized I can wiggle my ears. I don't know how I did it, but now I can without even thinking about it. I realize to most of you, this will sound insane. "2am and she's figuring out she can wiggle her ears". But it's an inside joke that means a lot to me, and my family...so it was kind of huge for me. Which is why I thought about my blog at that particular moment. I did it, and thought, I have to put that in my blog. My next thought was, Oh my God...I haven't written my blog yet! I spent quite a few hours of the night catching up on Grey's Anatomy. I only came to the realization the other day, that as I'm in Canada, I can get the episodes I've missed on CTV's website. SO...I decided it was something I needed to do before going back to England. Knowing that I will not have time tomorrow, or Saturday, I set up my laptop and got comfy. A few hours later, and I am caught up! I'm so happy! It was an intense line up of episodes. I almost broke down a few times.
Anyway, my day wasn't anything too exciting. Which is probably a good thing, as I am going to try to keep this short, because I need my sleep. Woke up and got ready...took a few minutes to call the bank. Few minutes more...probably about 10 actually...and I'm still on hold, just waiting to speak to a person. No one had picked up yet. The recording told me my balance, which made me angry as I'm short money, which doesn't make sense seeing as they froze my account the last time I checked. That means no money has been able to come out, yet some how a large amount did come out between 2 days ago and this morning. UGH! I ran out of time waiting on hold. We had to go, and I had to hang up.
My Mom and I went to sit at my Aunt's chiropractor's office while she got adjusted, or whatever you want to call it. Then once she was finished her appointment the 3 of us went to the bulk barn for some baking ingredients, and a few bits of candy. As per usual, we stopped at Starbucks, and then we were off to Costco. Picked up a few necessities and headed to Kelseys for lunch. (One of my favourite restaurants). The service was great, as was the food. The waiters had us laughing and we had a nice time.
From there we went a few different places to run some errands. I stayed asleep in the car for most of this, as it was just quick in and out trips. My Mom and Aunt ran into the hairdressers, and when my Mom was done, we headed to the grocery store to start our shopping. My Aunt Cindy met us there when she finished.
Drove back to my Aunt's, while she made dinner for my Uncle, and my Mom baked, I headed back to the hairdressers to get mine washed. (Other plans fell through, things didn't work out, and so I had to do my hair later than expected).
Got back to my Aunt's, and shortly after, we headed to my cousin's for a quick visit. (The one that's getting married). Another errand stop on the way home, some baking....(I only did the sprinkles on the truffles), and then the Grey's Anatomy catch up. Now I'm up to speed...I have no internet connection in the bedroom, and I'm pretty exhausted, SO, what I'm going to do is save this...and post it tomorrow morning before heading out. Sorry for those of you who checked for it last night. Hopefully it won't happen again. Good Night xx
