I am soooo sleepy. But you're probably thinking, yeah yeah, what's new? So I'll get on with it.
Today was awesome. I got up and got ready, so that Mom and I could head out for the day. We went to the bank, the chamois (the place to get your car washed), and then to a little cafe on Provencher - called Le Garage - where we met up with 2 family friends. They are ladies we do lunch with everytime we come in, and it's always a good time. We know them through my Dad's soccer team, and they are the other halves of the couples we went to the Dominican with a few years ago. We enjoyed a great lunch and chat, and then decided to do some running around.
We headed to Best Buy first. I GOT A CAMERA!!!! I'm so happy! The guy was amazing. I was standing there looking at a camera that was over 500 dollars, and he ended up directing me towards one that was around 3 hundred. Not too shabby at all. He explained everything perfectly, listened to what I wanted it for, and sold me exactly what I needed rather than something that would cost me more money now and in the future, as well as completely confuse me. I'm very happy and can't wait to go out and take some pictures. I took some around Tara's apartment tonight, but we were all so tired, I'd probably get beat up if I posted, or even keep the pictures.
After that we ran into Wal-Mart to get a few essentials. A delicious bag of mints was clearly on that list...and then we were back in the car, and on our way to get Tara. When we arrived, we parked, and went upstairs to meet her. Said hi to some people in her office while she finished on the phone, and then we walked over to Starbucks to see Brent (Her friend that dressed as the little boy from "Where The Wild Things Are". It was so great to see him again. He works there, took our order, and then he took his break so he could sit with us. After a good laugh, he had to go back to work, and we left to go back to the Chamois. You see, the first time we went, they didn't exactly clean it...so we were going back for a re-clean. It's still not great, but it's better than it was. That, and we got to watch the good looking guys work on the car again. Oh and...(This is very important) I discovered something...not entirely new, about myself, but more...a realization about myself. I am addicted to Winnipeg boys. Honestly, not saying I need one, just saying they are definitely pretty to look at. My God. Prairie boys are certainly different. There's just something about them. Anyway, enough about that...(You all know I'm "boy crazy"...the simple fact is that I appreciate boys, and am fascinated by them...nothing wrong with that :p)
Once we were done there we came back to Tara's appartment, changed, and Lauren (one of my best friends) came to meet us here. Tara, her and I drove to a sushi restaurant and had a nice dinner, and later ventured into Indigo. I was looking for a specific book to show Lauren a picture of someone I know (Tara had already seen it), but after 2 employees tried to find it for us, we came to the conclusion that it does not exist at that location. I'll have to show her another time. We went into Starbucks where the guy actually had a sense of humour and was joking around with us, and then we drove back to Tara's to watch some TV, get our @$$e$ kicked by Tara at 100 pin wii bowling, and then watch some more TV. During that time Sean came over, Mom came home, and we all became very tired.
Sean left, Tara went to bed, I took those pictures I spoke about, we watched Craig Ferguson, Mom went to bed, and very soon after Lauren left. Now you're up to date. As usual, I am ready for bed. I will finish up here, hit the pillow and fall right to sleep.
Another day to look forward to tomorrow. BUT before I go...I keep meaning to tell you, my Aunt Cindy reminded me. It would seem the boys actually miss me! I had been afraid that after they realized no one was nagging them to behave or to eat everything on their plate, they would not want me to come back. Josh however, has proved that theory wrong. I have received an e-mail from him almost daily, and yesterday I received 3. Whether it's a short update on his daily happenings, him just wondering how I am, telling me jokes, or him relaying messages from Zach, I get an e-mail, and it's great. It makes me feel like I am wanted there, and that I am making a difference. I couldn't ask for anything more. One of the e-mails included a "dictation from Zach" saying that he had been asking when I was coming back, and that he wanted to let me know he had Spaghetti for dinner the night Josh was writing. They are too freakin' cute! I do miss them. I am also enjoying the time with my family though. Going back will be very hard, but I have a lot to look forward to before then, so I will try not to think about it.
Bed time for this girl. Good Night xx
