Day 51

Sitting here freezing, and feeling huge. Good times. I am really missing my Wii Fitness Coach. Ugh. The fact that we just got birthday cake in the house...definitely does not help my situation.

Anyway, I woke up this morning and wished my Mom a Happy Birthday. Got ready, and went to the bank. I had a few questions I needed the answers to, but the trip was an unsuccessful one. Mom drove and dropped me off at the mall where I walked around for a bit. - She dropped me at the doors in the Bench section of the Bay. Not the place you want to be when you're trying not to spend any money - After refraining from buying anything, I headed off to Moxies where I met up with some old colleagues/friends. We updated each other on the latest happenings in our lives. (I was happy to hear they are both doing very well, and are becoming very successful). It was a great time, we talked about the old radio station and some of our past, and had shared some laughs about old friends and co workers. After a while they had to return to work so we said goodbye for what could be another year, and we went our separate ways yet again.

I walked around a bit more, and then Mom came to pick me up. The two of us did some running around, looking for a battery for Tara's remote starter for her car, then we sat and had a coffee. Soon after, we had to go get Tara from work. We arrived and she came out almost instantly. We drove home, hung around for a bit, and then got ready to go out again. Sean (Tara's bf) came to meet up with us, and we headed off to dinner. Mom chose a nice little Italian place, so it was pasta for most of us...egg plant parmesan for her. Another good conversation, a cup of coffee, and then home to quickly change and leave again. This time for the movies. We bought tickets for "Where The Wild Things Are", got our popcorn and took our seats. I wasn't feeling great, and am still exhausted, so I was nodding off through it which is too bad, and I will definitely want to see it again in order to give it a fair judgement. I think had I of been more awake, I probably would have really enjoyed it.

The movie ended and we came home. Got the cake out of the freezer, no stupid "Happy Birthday" song, as we all hate it, but we still enjoyed the delicious "Finding Nemo" ice cream cake. I'm now sitting here with Mom, Sean has gone home, Tara's in bed, so we are watching Craig Ferguson, and I'm drinking hot chocolate to keep me warm. I will be heading to bed shortly. Good Night xx
