Day 49

So after a VERY short sleep lastnight...or this morning?...I was up at 7:30 and getting ready to go watch Tara coach soccer. Once our make up was done, we were out the door and on our way to Starbucks. We got our drinks, and I chose to have a proper Earl Grey Tea Misto. They made it wrong :( Guess I'll have to try again tomorrow.

We drove to Tara's soccer where Mom and I perched ourselves behind the nets on the turf for 2 hours. We spoke to some of the guys we knew, and soon enough it was time to pack up. We had a chance to have a conversation with a family friend, which was really nice, and then we were off to the next location.

Tara, Mom and I then met up with another family friend in which I hadn't seen in a long time. I all of a sudden felt very sick though, and had to get Tara to drive me home. I got in the door, changed into my pyjamas, crawled into bed and was asleep within seconds. That was probably around 2. I didn't wake up until Tara woke me after 7. Even then I did not feel right. But, I got changed, back into my Mad Hatter costume, did my makeup and we were off to a Surprise Birthday Party. We got there and saw a number of people we hadn't seen for the longest time. (Last December at the very least). We spoke to old neighbous, and updated them on our lives, and heard the latest on their families. One of them is always so interested in what I'm doing, he makes me feel like a celebrity. He's my number one fan :p I played barbies with the girls, and felt special when I saw the smiles on their faces the moment they saw me walk through the door. At around 10:45 we left that party, and went to Tara's friend's Wedding Social. We had just missed the Boot Scootin' Boogie which was unfortunate, but as soon as we walked in, we could tell the DJ was 100% better than the night before. The music was loud and you could feel it. We put our coats on the chair and were ready to dance all night. We did exactly that.

Saw some good costumes, and of course (as we're in Winnipeg), saw some very good looking boys. There was a tin man, scarecrow and crew, an entire Where's Waldo clan - dog, burgular and all -, and much much more. We danced until the very last song "Monster Mash", and then drove Tara to Sean's. We met some people there, and played with a cute dog. It's funny I thought he was a cute, cuz he was a mix of 2 of my least favourite types of dogs. Anyway, he was fun.

Now Mom and I are home, and I am exhausted so I'm signing off on yet another day.
