Day 44

What a day. I'm exhausted. Physically. Not ready for bed, but am very grateful to be curled up on the couch in front of the TV with a cup of tea. - Speaking of, I'll need a refill very soon-

I got up at my regular time even though the boys have the week off school. I know they don't sleep in on weekends so I thought I better be up in case they are being mischievous around the house. Well I get downstairs and the first thing Josh says is "GUESS WHAT TIME I GOT UP!" so I said I didn't really care (cuz he tries to fight me about it each day), and he said "5:45!!" I said yeah, cuz you're crazy! His response was "No, cuz I wanted to beat you, and I finally did!" I told him how ridiculous that is...if he's up earlier than me who is going to make his breakfast? He didn't seem to care. The rest of the morning was much of the same. I won't go into too much detail but let's just say I laid some rules down. Nathaniel and Zach cleaned up the playroom, and I got all of their stuff ready for their multi sports (Sports Day).

At around 9:40 we left for the school. When we arrived I walked them in, past the good looking guys running the course. Said good bye and came home. The woodworm guy was here so I checked my e-mails etc, and when he left I got changed and did my work out. I really needed it. It felt great. Once I was done that, I got changed and made my way to Braintree. I didn't have too much time so I did what had to be done first. Pretty much finished up my Christmas shopping, and went to grab a Satrbucks for the road. I got to the front of the line, and they were out of Soy :( I left Braintree a little crushed. - I did however get a bit of a lead while I was there, that I hope to follow up with in the very near future -

Drove to the school and waited outside for about 10 minutes. Watched the coaches hand out medals to each participant, and then went in to collect the boys. Once we got back into the car, we went home for just over an hour where the boys watched Spongebob, and then we headed off to swimming. Uncle Clifford met us there, Zach did a great job today! He listened soooo well! I was very happy. I drove home, Uncle Clifford followed so that I could drop the car off, and then drove the 4 of us back to his house.

The boys swam with Dan, Joe and Ben, and Uncle Clifford ordered pizza for all of us. When they got out of the pool, Joe and I did a puzzle, and spoke about his excitement for the arrival of his new baby sister. Then we all sat down to eat. Well...the kids and I. I was exhausted by this point. I found it hard to keep my eyes open, and my insanity in tact haha. It's always so loud when the Preddy family gets together. Especially with 5 children.

We left right after dinner, I got the boys ready for bed and read Nathaniel the rest of his novel. I then came downstairs, grabbed a penguin and some tea, watched How I Met Your Mother and Friends, and now Heloise is watching Emma as I type. I'm gonna go skype with my sis, and then to bed soon after. Tomorrow's going to be a long day. We're driving 2 hours to go to Bewilderwood I believe it's called. Should be interesting. Good Night xx

  1. I made up for your lack of Starbucks today. :O) by having two. One on the way to set in the wee hours of the morning and one coming home. I am very interested to hear the lead you got. You left your readers hanging on two different things today. Maybe even three. You must be tired. Or perhaps just bewilderwood....could not resist how lame was that. I am not sure what or where Bewilderwood is and I have to assume it must be good for someone to drive two hours in England it has to be amazing. lol
Look forward to hearing all about it tomorrow.
    Love you

  2. Hahahaha we definitely heard about how long the drive was...More than once. What were the other things I left people hanging on? I really was tired lastnight, I'm sorry. I'll try to make tonight's better and informative. Very jealous you've had 2 Starbucks. I won't be able to have another one until Thursday probably in Toronto :| That's a long way away.
