Day 33

Ok...before I begin this blog, I just want to say...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND BUILDS AN AIRCRAFT IN THEIR BACKYARD, AND ONLY TIES IT DOWN WITH SOMETHING SO FLIMSY A 6 YEAR OLD CAN UNDO IT AND TAKE OFF????...Have any of you read that story yet? If not, go to this link.

INSANITY! These people should not have children! You named your child Falcon, of course he's going to think he can fly.

Now that I've gotten my little rant over and done with...I had another wonderful day today. Didn't have to get up til 6:30, and although I was still exhausted, it was nice to feel like I was sleeping in a bit. Got ready...breakfast for the boys, homework, and then they checked out the star chart. Which by the way, seems to be helping with certain situations as I was hoping it would. Josh has made a major improvement today! To bring you up to date, yesterday their sticker results were as follows: Josh - 11, Nathaniel - 14, and Zach - 10. Today it's: Josh - 18, Nathaniel - 19, and Zach - 12. I am very proud of Josh, and am hoping that Zach decides to participate. Tonight when he was complaining about eating his apple I made sure he knew that meant he wouldn't get a sticker, and his response was "I don't care". So I just said, ok, that means you won't get a treat. And that was that. He does seem to care normally, so I didn't make a huge deal out of it.

Heloise came downstairs (She had today off). The plasterer showed up around the same time as yesterday and had a long conversation with Heloise which ended up making things a little hectic. She was planning on walking Josh and Nathaniel to school, but instead, they had to hop in the car, and I dropped the 3 of them off on my way to Angels with Zach.

Once everyone was out, Zach and I drove off with the music turned up again. It was great, and he was all smiles and singing :D We got to Angels. Got the last spot in the parking lot because it was Market Day. (It's the same every Thursday) And I had to park so close to another car that I had to crawl out the passenger door. This is the 2nd time that's happened. If you saw this car park, and the vehicle I drive...you would not believe it would even fit into a space. Stephen would be very impressed with how straight I can park this vehicle.

I dropped Zach off, and went back to pick Heloise up. We quickly drove home so I could run in and get the curling iron I was returning today, and Heloise warned me to dodge the plasterer as I didn't want to be in there forever. :p

Heloise got in the drivers seat and took us to Colchester. Once we arrived, we looked in the toy department for the boys, and quickly made it over to the clothes where Heloise found a few things she wanted to pick up on the way out. The next stop was MAC! I FINALLY HAVE COLOURS!!!! I picked up a couple of pink eye shadows (they were out of the 3rd one I wanted), and I got a lipstick as there's barely any left of my current one, and I knew it would soon need to be replaced. I can't wait to wear my new eye shadows! Wearing brown every day for me...is like wearing matching socks. Ew!

Finished there and went to Marks and Spencers to pick up some supper for tonight, and a few other things including cranberry jelly *that was on our return trip to M&S a little later though*, as they don't have fresh or frozen cranberries until Christmas, I needed to get them because I NEED cranberries for Saturday's turkey dinner. From there we went to Boots. I returned the curling iron to the cashier's dismay, and picked up a few items. Then we went to Starbucks. I was so excited. Heloise and I sat down...I took a sip...and I can honestly say (as rude as this sounds), I probably missed about 5 minutes of one of Heloise's stories because my drink was not right, and I couldn't concentrate on anything else for a bit. (Yes, I am an addict...but I can admit that). It's very upsetting when you only get it so often and it's wrong. But how can you complain when it's something they don't even have on their menu?...You can't. Then I look up, and the "Zac Effron look-a-like" is coming out of the back. I guess he doesn't only work at the Brain Tree Starbucks. This upset me because he knows how to make my drink. I should have been 10 minutes later! - And that's where I zoned back into mine and Heloise's conversation. -

We finished there and that's when we made our 2nd M&S stop. I saw some amazing nylons I'm going to have to get once I'm back from South Africa. (I have to start saving my pennies for the moment). Then we went to Monsoon. (A sort of trendy shop with clothes for moms and little girls, and an accessories department on the side). They had cool nylons as well.

From there we went back to the first store. Looked through the clothes again. Heloise picked up some stuff for the boys, and then we went to the toy department where I took care of another Christmas gift. I tell ya, I am very organized this year. Only one and a half more presents to go! Plus the boys gifts...but as I think I said before, they're going to be impossible to shop for. I wish I could get them a puppy!

We walked to the car, and then drove to JJB! (A sports store I love). It took EVERYTHING in me not to buy the new Owen jersey. It was even hanging there. The exact one I wanted. His name and number on the back and everything. But I stopped myself, and will hopefully get that after South Africa as well. A while later, and a whole lot of Heloise's Christmas shopping was done. We left there, had just enough time to come home for a cup of tea, and then left to get Zach. The plasterer trapped Heloise upstairs for a bit, but we somehow managed to leave on time anyway.

Got Zach and then drove to Josh and Nathaniel's school to wait for them. Picked up Nathaniel and his friend, Josh was going home with his friend, and then Zach ended up going to the park with a friend of his. We came home with 2 boys, and by supper time we had 4. (Josh and his friend came back for that). So did the friend's mom, and then Zach got home so the house got crazy...better word...crazier.

Once everyone ate, dessert and all, the boys got ready for Judo. Heloise went to pick up another boy while the rest of them ran around the house playing tag, and then she came up for everyone but Nathaniel's friend. (Confused yet?) Nathaniel's friend Cameron stayed and hung out with me, watching the suite life of Zack and Cody and then some of Tom and Jerry, before his dad showed up to take him home.

AT LAST! Peace and quiet. It was really relaxing! Plus it gave me the chance to speak to my mom on Skype :D Did that, and caught up on some Desperate Housewives episodes...Then the boys came home. Josh ran in and gave me a cuddle. Nathaniel ran in and asked if I'd go upstairs with him. We all climbed up the stairs to get them ready for bed. Heloise came up soon after so I returned to my laptop downstairs. Not long after, Josh showed up for more cuddles, and Zach showed up with a book wanting me to read to him. I got through the first 2 pages, and that's when Heloise came down to get everyone. They all went up to bed. I finished watching the episode I was on, then had a conversation/mini argument (not really) with Tim about downloading music...laughed, and came up to have my shower and get ready for bed. Was going to be asleep by 11, but then I got caught up in that silly story about that poor 6 year old. Then came the rant, and then this blog...and NOW, it's 11:07 and I am officially ready to crash. Can't believe it's Friday tomorrow. The week's go by crazy fast here!! (Which I think is a good thing, but I have to make sure I get done what I want to get done, as I think my time here will be up before I know it). And seeing as I want to enjoy it all...I should get some shut eye. Good Night xx

  3. The attic?? Are you serious? How do you lose track of a 6 year old? And why would you contact police before searching your home. Ugh. Some people!

Thank you mom. I think I may be getting a Starbucks Sunday at Braintree. Hopefully the right guy is there and my worries will be over :p xx
