I'm writing my blog early tonight. The boys are in bed (Well...they're being put to bed) and once I watch One Tree Hill, I'm sure I will be too.
Woke up and got ready, Nathaniel did his homework without me asking!! (This chart thing is really working! - It's not even up yet and they're working towards stickers -) Josh forgot his homework at school so he couldn't do it...he just did his times tables, and Zach did his flash cards.
Once everyone was done and ready, we walked up to school. The construction guy said good morning to me as usual. We went through both paths and waited for Nathaniel to go in, then Zach went into pre school. I walked up to the High Street. Stopped at Boots, then went to a small deli/card shop and over to the post office. I picked up a few things including stickers for the chart, and was on my way.
I got home, and did my wii work out. It felt really good. I wanted to go for a run but didn't have time. Once I finished, I got changed, and it was time to pick Zach up from school. This trip, the construction guy couldn't have chosen a worse word to say. He did the famous "Alright?"...The expression I have no idea how to react to. Is it ACTUALLY a question? Or is it just a way of saying hi?...Like What's up? It confuses me every time. Anyway, I just smiled, said hi, and kept walking. *STUPID!*
Picked Zach up, and he decided he wanted to walk home to get the car, instead of walking up to the High Street. Got another smile, but was in a conversation with Zach so all I could do was smile back. We got home, picked up the library books and went to mail some things. The library was closed so we had to put that off until later. Back home for lunch.
Zach watched some TV after eating, while I made the Pub 'N' Fun Chart. (I still have to colour some of it in, but didn't want to do it while the older boys watched cuz I would like it to be a bit of a surprise. I'll finish it when I go up tonight).
Soon enough it was time to get Nathaniel at school. We drove over...had to park a bit away as it's always quite busy right after. Got him, jumped back into the car and drove to swimming. I got there without the directions!!! I felt so special. Watched him and Zach swim, and then we had to get back to the school in time to pick Josh up from Football. Did that, and got home around 5.
Was about to make dinner when Heloise walked in. She took over - I think she really enjoys cooking - and I folded some laundry. We ate, Josh did the homework he had missed, read me part of his book, and then we did his spellings. I got to speak to my dad online, and then the boys went up to bed. So here I sit. I've watched How I Met Your Mother, and Friends...and now I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy tickets for the England game on Wednesday. BLARGH!!! Anyway...I'll let you know tomorrow if that happened or not. One Tree Hill time. Good Night xx

ReplyDeleteOkay, I've got to get some clarification on "the pub". I thought a pub was an English bar of sorts. Do you mean to tell me that you can take children to "the pub"? Can they drink (I'm KIDDING - but what a great idea if they got a bit out of ..... no, no, I'm really kidding.) I think I need a pub 'n fun chart for myself over here.
