Day 24

Today was a good day! Woke up with my headache...but I'll talk about that in a minute. Got ready and went downstairs to take care of the boys. Breakfast as usual, then the homework, and then Josh taught me the latest on guitar. I love it! I really wish I had mine here. When he shows me something, I don't want to put it down, I just want to keep playing until I know what I'm doing by heart. But that wouldn't really help him learn now would it?

Heloise had the day off as they haven't found her placement yet, so the two of us (me driving) took Josh and Nathaniel to school, and then Zach to Angels. As it was a rainy miserable day she ran them from the cars to the school (They wouldn't be waiting in the playground) and I waited in the car. Not a bad deal at all :p We came home for a bit, I did my wii, and then I drove up to Boots to ask if I could take something for my head even though I'm on medication. They said yes, I took 2 when I got home and haven't felt it since!!! Thank Goodness!!!! Watched Grey's Anatomy *SOOOO GOOD AGAIN!!!!* Then I read a bit of Midnight Sun and Heloise asked if I wanted to go to Sainsbury's. I DROVE!!!!!! - Now this is big! I know I've been driving around a lot, but this trip was the first I'd done with the big round a bouts! I was nervous at first, but the first one I came to, I tackled no problem. Second and third, same thing. With a bit more practice, I'm sure I'll be much more comfortable and will be able to get to and from places pretty easily.

Once we were in Sainsbury's it was FREEZING in the produce section, so I went over to pick up a few things in electronics. I bought the new Mika album YAY!!! And the new Stone Cold Steve Austin movie that I was on set for called "Damage". I'm really looking forward to watching that, but am running out of time tonight. Will have to just watch behind the scenes, and the rest of it tomorrow. Anyway, finished up there...picked up Zach (Heloise drove, I was too tired and wanted to pay attention to street signs this time) - Then we drove home and after grabbing the best cookie I've EVER tasted (White Chocolate Raspberry)...can't even explain how good it was...except by saying, I had another half later and will definitely be having one tomorrow...I walked up to get Josh and Nathaniel while Heloise unloaded the rest of the groceries.

We came back with just enough time for the boys to grab a snack, and then it was off to Uncle Clifford's for dinner. The boys had a swim as usual, and then we enjoyed a nice meal. After dessert we piled back into the car and came home. Josh and Nathaniel sat at the table drawing mock certificates - Josh seems to think I should pay him 120 pound for guitar lessons, so Heloise told him she thought he should have a teaching degree before that, and I said it had to be signed by a professional - They came up with some pretty interesting attempts...but nothing that would pass my 120 pound worth grading.

While they did that, Zachary and I played with his tool box and work station. He asked what I wanted him to build me so I said a tree house. Watching him work, and asking all kinds of cute questions like "Do you want a patio?" "A ladder?" "Some food?" "It will have 3 bouncy castles on top with 3 trampolines!" Made all the little upsets in the past 24 days worth it. It really is the cute little things they do that make your day. The fact that he wanted to play with me, even though his mommy was home made me smile. When he had to go up to bed, there was no fuss. He just told me he would have to finish building my tree house tomorrow. Then, as he was going up the stairs and I was in the kitchen I heard my name. I answered, but he didn't hear so he called again. I replied and he said..."Do you want a swimming pool in your tree house?" I said "Absolutely!" And that was the last I heard of him for the night. It made me smile. Memories like those are the ones I'll be taking home with me.

For tonight, I'm going to end this, and see if I'm in the bonus material of the movie. Good Night...or Good Morning or Afternoon...depends on when you're reading this :p xx

PS Here is a pic of me in the red coat I talked about buying the other day.
