Today was exciting. Maybe that's not the best word. I'll try that again. Today was...busy! Finished getting ready, got the boys ready, and we did their homework. Coats on drinks ready and out the door. We walked up to the school where I dropped everyone, and after leaving Zachary (the youngest) at Nursery, it started raining :( I was wearing my new coat and was therefore not impressed :p I hurried home, and thought I'd grab my umbrella before heading to the doctors. I got to the door and thought...why would I walk in the rain instead of driving? So I grabbed what I needed and headed out again. First time in the car alone. It was kind of nice. I had the music on, and it was a little more relaxed.
I got to the doctors and after explain that it felt like my skull was in a nut cracker and that my vision had gone blurry, and my ears went all crazy, the receptionist decided I should see the doctor. I sat and waited about 10 minutes, went in and found out that on top of my chest infection, I have a sinus infection. GREAT! More drugs. Ugh. Hopefully they work. I'm so sick of this headache!!! I'll stop complaining though, because although I do feel terrible, I do still manage to have a good time.
After the doctors and picking up my prescription I came home, did my Wii, spoke to my mom and then went to pick Zach up. He was very talkative on the way home, and held my hand the whole way which was nice. *Ow foot's asleep* Anyway, got home, made lunch. Hot dogs, cucumber, cheese, and orange pepper for Zach...Soup, pepper and cheese for me. It was delicious. I also had some cheese and onion hula hoops and mini cheddars :| That all stops tomorrow though. Honestly, all of it. We finished lunch, watched Toy Story. Then Zach wanted to see me curl my hair. We unwrapped my new curling iron and discovered it is ... - No matter how I say this, someone will comment on it - it's very small. It would take me a day and a half to do my hair with it. Soooo scratched that idea - I'll have to take the curling iron back - and we watched a bit of Spongebob together and checked on my farm and cafe.
After a little bit of chaos, Zach and I got in the car to go pick Nathaniel (the 6 year old) up from school. Parked, got him (in the rain) and tried to figure out whether or not Josh's *the 8 year old* football (soccer) was canceled. It wasn't, so Nathaniel, Zach and I jumped back in the car and I drove to swimming. Nathaniel did really well at his lesson tonight. It was very nice to see. Finished the lessons and got the boys changed quickly to go back to the school and pick Josh up from football. Got him, checked to see if the office was open so I could drop some papers off but it wasn't so back to the car we went.
Got home around 5, popped dinner (fish pie) in the oven. Cooked some broccoli and green beans, and checked my e-mails while Nathaniel drew me a very nice picture of a rocket ship, and Josh drew some...not so nice pictures of me lol. I swear he does love me...sometimes. Lol. No, he really is a lovely boy, he just gets crazy sometimes. (As do most boys).
Ate dinner and Heloise and Tim got home as Uncle Clifford knocked at the door to say hello. Had a chat, and decided the two of us would go for coffee Wednesday morning while Zach's at school :) Sadly my cousin Charlie, my Nan and my Aunty Linda aren't coming tomorrow :( I will hopefully see them on Saturday though.
Just sitting here now, taking it easy...thinking of how much food I ate today, and missing my puppies among other things. Just saw pictures of a friend's 8 week old wire haired dachshund and am very jealous! I need cuddles! Anyway, watched One Tree Hill tonight. I'm getting excited as the episodes get closer to the ones I missed last season!!! Now Heloise and I are watching Two and a Half Men, Tim is at soccer. Heloise has the day off tomorrow so hopefully we will go out at some point. Until then...that is all :p xx

Hello
ReplyDeleteAs you read this know that I am laughing to myself as I type it and especially after Cindy's comment that it sounds like a reality show. lol
So first things first I am so happy for you that you had such a lovely day and I know you looked gorgeous in your new coat and you should put a pic up on here of that cause it is lovely and you look amazing in it...sorry got a little side tracked there now where was I oh ya a lovely day for you and that you drove on your own and felt comfortable doing it.....but and this is a big but you went on to tell us all that your head feels like it is in a nut cracker and you can't hear properly and your vision is blurred......do you think you should really be driving oh and you are on more drugs. I must say you have me a bit worried. and someone feels comfortable in you taking care of three very busy boys. lol If it was anyone else but you I think I would be very very worried. lol
All kidding aside your blog was very interesting today and you seem to be doing just fine even though you are feeling so rough.
Love
mom
xoxoxox
Haha I could only imagine if cameras followed us here. Just as I'm thinking it couldn't get any more hectic...that would most definitely make things worse. Too many people = "Show off" mode for the boys.
ReplyDeleteLOL I do hurt mom, but I put all of that aside until the boys are at school. And if my vision was blurred all the time I definitely would not be driving. Off to the chemist now to see if I can combine drugs. (That sounds good doesn't it?) :p xoxoxox
I see your mom is worried about you.
ReplyDeleteWhat worries me is that very friendly construction guy that seems to have his eye on you!!!
HAHAHA Yeah right Aunt Cindy. He probably says good morning to every person that passes.
