Day 22

It's my 22nd day here, which it thankfully doesn't feel like. (I have a feeling this year will go by fast, as I seem to be busy most days). But I feel terrible. I'm getting worried about my head. Same killer headache - feels like my skull is in a nutcracker - I was sitting at the table and had to stop what I was doing because the pain was so bad. I was speaking to Nathaniel a little while later, and it felt like I was going through a tunnel. My ears were doing something weird. It was a horrible feeling...felt like I was going to fall over. Then my vision went all weird :S I guess I will have to walk up to the doctors again tomorrow and hope that they can fit me in. That probably won't happen though :(

Anyways, enough about that. Today was a good day. Woke up around 8:30, had a knock at my door again, but I stayed in there, got ready and relaxed until about 11. Went downstairs for some toast and then Toni came over around 11:15. We waited for Monika and then the 3 of us plus Brigitta went to get Irene. Once she was in the car we drove to Chelmsford and did a few hours of shopping. It was great! First stop was Starbucks. Then we went into H and M, and a few other stores, Next, Clinton etc. I got a pair of jeans, a really nice coat, a couple Tatty Teddy things (I collect him), some socks, a curling iron and some razors (That part's exciting I know!) I was actually very excited for the curling iron - You should have seen me - . Mine doesn't work here cuz it won't plug into my adapter for some reason so when I finally found one that curls instead of straightens, I had to pick it up. As for the razors, I got excited about them cuz I was afraid England wouldn't have the cartridges for mine...and I love it, so when I saw they did...it was kind of a big deal. Didn't find too many long sleeved shirts so I'm holding out for the Bench store I'm going to on Thursday with Toni. I've also found a new brand I am in love with. Jane Norman. I love almost every piece of clothing on the website. We saw some today in a store, but it was as the stores were closing so I didn't have time to try anything on or pick anything out. I had seen it briefly before, but that was on a day when I was not looking to buy. I will definitely have to go back there soon! Bought some chocolate and some mints as well :p Oh this one Tatty Teddy thing I picked up, is a bed warmer. I am VERY excited! He's a cute little stuffy, and as odd as this sounds, you warm his insides and then cuddle him at night. YAYYY!!! Maybe I can sleep without socks on tonight.

Tim has also said he'll look at my radiator and put my heat on for me :) Haha I guess I'm a huge wimp compared to everyone else that lives here. But all of the other girls agree with me and are always cold. Speaking of cold - we also finished the day off with a Starbucks - I figured I better get my fill while I can :p It was a pretty nice day weather wise though. Very sunny, and didn't get too cold until we were about ready to leave.Came home, ate, washed my hair, and now I'm watching a bit of TV with Tim and Heloise but will be going up very shortly. I'm pretty tired, and my head hurts :( Get to see my cousin on Tuesday :D, like I said shopping Thursday, and Toni and I are supposed to be going ice skating on the weekend. It should be a fun week!!! If only I can feel 100% by tomorrow. (I don't see that happening though). Better go. xx

  1. Well if this blog is not one to worry your mother I don't know what will.
I worry everyday and look forward to the day that you can say in your blog that you had a great day like you did today but that you were also feeling wonderful.
Fingers crossed that you get to see the doctor.
Loves of love miss you lots.

  2. Maybe you have developped the lovely family migraines!
Adam Herbert gets them, so do I, so does dad. So you're screwed either way cause it's on' both sides of the family. Much like our fantastical tummy issues.
Adam's vision goes funny about 10mins before a migraine is gonna hit. Mine however goes after the headache is already there.
Maybe mention that at the doctors...

    Love you

  3. Hmm forgot about your crazy vision issues. Didn't mention it today. Hoping these pills work. So much pressure in my right temple :(
The Cafe doesn't take as much work as the farm. Very easy to run in between harvests :p x

  4. so I have heard you are now working for stephen in his cafe. Is that right. You are one busy woman I must say.
No wonder you are so sick and run down and tired. Taking care of a family running a farm and a cafe and then running over to help Stephen at his cafe.
You need to slow down and get better plus I don't think Stephen would want you spreading your sicky germs at his cafe with his other staff memembers and clientel.
    Love
