Day 12

My mouth tastes of Suntan lotion, and there's broken glass on my bathroom floor.

...Now, if I drank, you'd all be thinking "Wow! She must have had a good night!" But I don't...so the only other way to look at it is..."It was just one of those days...and it has yet to end".

Before I get into all that, I will tell you that last night was a lot of fun. I met Heloise's friends sister who is my age and we seemed to get along pretty well. - We might be going line dancing or horse back riding or something together soon! - Anyway, I did have a really nice time, when I got home I was absolutely knackered (As I am again tonight...but I figured I owed you all a somewhat interesting entry). *Yesterday's was lacking*

I woke up - Thank God! - ...I guess I should be looking at things that way...at least I got up!
I did however wake up with a sore throat (more so than the night before) and was extremely tired. Not to mention the aches and pains from doing my wii exercises. My God! You would have thought I went to boot camp! I remember, I rolled over and it felt like someone had punched me in the abs. Wasn't sure how I was going to get out of bed...but I did. Everything in me was asking me not to work out today, but to tell the truth, it's a good pain, and I made sure I did get on once I got back from the schools. - I'm getting ahead of myself now though - Made the boys breakfast as usual. All 3 courses. Drove them to school and nursery. Nathaniel had every intention of going in today. Got out of the car with Heloise...walked up to the school grounds with her and Josh...and came right back. Poor guy.

Now...feeling weak, tired, and sore as I did...I am sure my patience was running low to begin with. And while I hate feeling like that, I tried not to let the little things aggravate me...but sometimes you can't help it. For instance...on a normal day, I may not get so annoyed listening to a 4 year old yell the same sentence over and over and over and OVER again while he waited for mommy to get back to the van after dropping Josh. But the space was small, and there is only so much winging my head could take. So...I turned on the high school musical soundtrack sitting in the cd player and listened to a couple of songs, and then switched to Mamma Mia and enjoyed some happy music for a few minutes. Nathaniel and Heloise came back to the car, and everything but Nathaniel's health was well.

We then took Zach to nursery, and drove home. I did my wii (Which you already know because I just couldn't wait to tell you), and then I had some breakfast. Sat with Nathaniel for a bit and was showing him some pictures when I all of a sudden felt very ill. - I was eating grapes...aren't those supposed to do some good for you? - Anyway, I ended up taking it pretty easy for the rest of the day. Didn't get to do the vacuuming cuz of the way I felt, but the plumber and the gas men were here so I couldn't really do it anyway. Hopefully I'll be able to get that done tomorrow. Nathaniel and I watched countless episodes of Spongebob, I made him an omelette...(I tell you, there is nothing nicer than hearing a child tell you how much they enjoyed the meal you made, and then have them thank you again and again). We played Battleship...which by the way, is a very hard game to explain to 6 year olds. Nathaniel isn't the first one who did not understand the grid system...I've had experience with this before...and the game seemed to drag on for him. SO if you take anything from today's blog...don't try to play Battleship with 6 year olds...they don't like it. We also played....hmm....thinking of the name...Top....something. I don't know. YES! I do! Top Trumps. I think...
It's basically collectors cards and you have to beat the other players cards with something taller or heavier etc. Like Pokemon cards I think. Anyway, we did that...Zach came home...we watched some Mamma Mia. And by some, I mean I saw about...2 minutes lol. And I may have heard 5 seconds of the dialogue. It's a good thing I love these boys. :p

Anyway Josh was picked up, supper rolled around...things got crazy, nothing abnormal really. I'm sure it happens at tables everywhere...I was just very tired and happy I was "off" haha. Josh went to Judo. The rest of the night was ok. I had gargled with TCP once already - which brings me back to the suntan lotion - but I think that the 2nd time was even worse. You know the smell of suntan lotion?...Well that's what TCP tastes like. What horrible stuff! It better work some magic! I placed my glass on the sink, went to wipe my hands on the towel...and CRASH!

There is now glass all over my bathroom floor! I cleaned up what I could, but the little pieces will have to wait until morning. I don't want to wake the boys with the sound of the vacuum.

I hope tomorrow is a better day. I have some running around to do while the boys are at school, and I'm supposed to be going dancing at night. Then to see "Fame" on the weekend. If this sore throat thing doesn't pass quickly though, I don't know how much I'm going to get done. And despite Tim laughing at me for coming up to bed at 10 to 9, this is why I am going to sleep now...(I decided not to tell him I was ready to come up at 6:30)
